Why would you think you got shafted? Everybody knows vets are not cheap, we hear it every day how vets are to expensive and rip folk off. Lets say your bitch was under vets care for 4hrs, so in 4 hours you're paying for the vet, a vets assistance and any medication needed. You go to a private dentist for your self for 4 hours of treatment or to see a decent solicitor for 4 hours and see what bill you cop for. Terrorists / hostage takers, take hostages in these situations for one reason only, maximum media coverage. Long drawn out negotiations play right into their hands. Media coverage should be blanketed out full stop. First thing these terrorists / hostage takers should get should be a flash bang, secondly a double tap to the chest thirdly one more tap to the head, example set NO negotiating, the more they get from negotiations the more hostages will be taken in the future.

All the permissions I have I got from meeting farmers in local pubs, drop into the conversation your in the building game, offer them a few freebies, and your half way to getting permission, farmers are greedy bastar*s by nature and love anything for nothing. Local farmer here refused me for years, few half packs of bricks and blocks , bits and pieces of drainage and timber, now I shoot deer on his land and run lurchers, even get the odd dig for terrier lads.

If I was landowner I would not give anybody permission, I want my share of the buzz chasing poachers with my land rover and man biting dog. Because I am sure the basta*ds who have chased me over the years enjoyed every minute of it.

No Db I do not know any Iranian beggars, but I do know plenty of Iranians and the ones I know all have a chip on their shoulders. But I would not judge them all like that only the ones I know.
