they all kill far more than they can possibly eat, they go into a frenzy when they get into a hen or pheasant run and kill the lot that they get theyre teeth into, same as killing young lambs they kill them and leave them in the field. some food they bury to return in leaner times, they both kill for survival and in frenzy mode that's why theyre a pest, badgers also prey on hens, pheasents and lambs too aswell as everything else. nature needs balance to work in harmony and when lower predators are let loose with protection from the law that's what upsets the balance and everything lower in t
