  1. Never heard of them mate, what's the scope on them. Do you know of or had similar issues yourself?
  2. I have a young terrier that vomits in transit whether it's travelling for hunting or short journeys in the terrier box for exercise. His dam was the same constantly sick in transit while in a box large cage etc. though when let run free in the boot of a vehicle or back of a van no sickness. The dog in question is the same. I've tried larger terrier boxes even cages and he still vomits sometimes the entire contents of his bowels other times just foam though soaked in sweat. Like his dam if I let him travel free in the back of the van or boot of car he is never sick. Obviously it's not entirely
  3. Come on the mighty Kats, can't wait for it myself.
  4. Good on you, could you post the show dates for 2020 if it's not too much bother. I'll have retired by that stage and you's all sound like a lovely bunch, I was plundering with the idea of breeding whippets and working them in the season and showing them off season but I'm not sure if that's allowed? Though I will need a lot of advice as I believe DNA testing is involved. Yous really do go that extra mile for your beloved furry friends, very sportsman like I must say. One nice big family. Atb
  5. LMFAO. Seriously, Working Dog Show dates for 2015 already?? There's wiser folk strapped into straight jackets and housed in padded cells. Anyone that works and keeps hunting dogs are looking forward to a long hard season of work for there dogs and can't wait to get at it. If your pencilling in dates on a calendar to bring (supposed working dogs) to shows next summer, at this time of year. You'd need to stay off whatever substances your taking or seek immediate medical advice. Atb.
  6. Can get it no problem worked in 2 separate local abbatoirs for 10+ years sold the doggie men the cows bellys at £1 each or 10 sheep bellys for £1. It's not openly allowed to be sold to the public now because of strict regulation and the companies could be liable for fines and prosecution if caught so most generally don't go there and have over uses for them that benefits them just as much if not with less hassle. It boils down to the old scenario, it's not what you know it's who you know. I also know a greyhound owner that sells 6lb bags for £1.50. Prefer the beef and chicken myself to be hone
  7. I have used them all over the years without any issue. Sorry to high jack the thread, though they DO NOT work on one particular dog in my yard. He's only starting out and the last 3 times he's been worked he was on amoxicillin to no avail, the next time I used the cephalexin, to no avail then tried the alphamox, same result. Each time after a few days it was clear to see that they were not taking affect, so a trip to the vets each time was needed. I was given a course of Clavaseptin which worked well and the other two times clindacyl which also worked well. So I'm wondering why the others do n
  8. Nice, what ways that pup bred 666?It was bred by a lad from athlone off his own stuffNice pup, the one I have was bred down that way. Best of luck with it.
  9. Eamon, I think you'll find if you read the thread correctly, it was another member who had asked who was judging the terriers. Alot of show threads on this forum consist of judges names etc. along with leaflets that are given out at and before shows. Something I haven't a great interest in unlike a lot of folk. Off the top of my head, I know four different Steven Smiths and I'm sure there's plenty more in the country I don't know. Just by chance I asked was it the SS that is also known as Spiff. Which I've been informed was correct. It seems your the only one doing the slobbering. It's peopl
  10. Clear your inbox tried sending you a pm.
  11. And even more wary of strange men holding video cameras.. The bloke in that photo is dead apparently, its the fella who done the panarama program, Northern Ireland and some scandinavian country. Heart attack in Iraq or sommat?Yip that's him, the Scandinavian country was Finland, he went by the name Steve, known as English Steve.
  12. Is terrier work now a whole different scene? Up to the individual, the company they keep and what grade of working terrier they choose to work. There's men that keep terriers for work and there's terriermen. As you know there's a big difference.
  13. Define a proper patterdale breeder please. Lmfao
  14. A mate of mine loaned a terrier out to a few lads, the dog only had a handful of digs over it, either way the dog was returned to his yard, while he was at work. A text message was sent saying they had missed him but dog returned, cheers and catch up later. I knew nothing about it until he rang me and asked me to call round to his. The same guy would be a bit green when it comes to stuff and they'd obviously taken the piss out off him, I couldn't understand why he lent if out in the first place, when he was getting it dug over at a nice pace for its age with us, so it wasn't as if it was lying
  15. Hypothetically speaking, that should work. If only it was that easy.
  16. 1/4 border, maybe had a part to play in that.
