  1. Seen that myself had an lol at the statement he made.
  2. Yeah mate I know what your saying, tell me this, if you've been working terriers for over 15 years and are stuck at the min for a few decent grafters in the yard. why would you have to search and pay for them?
  3. 100% mate. Darren, try and get dug in with lads that are into working there dogs for the love of owning dogs for work and nothing else. Money doesn't get mentioned, DO NOT trust anyone looking ££s for pups. Unless you know the code and are well clued in as to what they are bred from or for. I don't know any lads that are breeding working stock and advertising pups. They don't need to be advertised or sold for a price, for a reason. Atb
  4. That dog would be easily recognised, I hope if nothing else that alone may help to locate its whereabouts. Best of luck finding it.
  5. In all due respect the government is fked and too busy planning the same only in a so called justified way ( filling you full of shit in the proceeds ) Lives are being lost everyday and its not on the news. The world is in a mess man and television isn't going to broadcast you every detail on the 6oclock news that innocent children and family's are being murdered on a daily basis because of who they are or were they are from, they have been caught up in a conflict brought to there doorstep, the news would last for a lot more than 30mins If that was the case and you wouldn't be asking why you d
  6. I believe that most, if not all battery operated equipment that sends a signal to a receiver should be allowed to drain every so often so the battery cells as a whole are being used. I may be wrong. Interesting topic.
  7. I seen that dog advertised on the gumtree a while back, was bought and has been rehomed at least once from then if I am correct! its wonderfull what looks can do for some folk.
  8. Im not the type to spend my hard earned cash on terrier books, never did never will. I have read a few over the years that friends have bought then offered me a read. I did get some satisfaction from reading them, yet that left me as soon as I finshed reading. In all honesty nothing has stuck in my mind that was written, only the few lies or information that i know to be untrue. Curiosity got the better of me on this one (maybe the title got the better of me?) so i sussed out "the line up" as you say. I agree with your 2 bob bit, for what it's worth. A few pages in a book doesnt build a profil
  9. Looks well put together mate! Lol
  10. No stupid threads please! It's "the hunting life" not "the showing life"
  11. Dev my old dog was the same but I still always checked after him even though he never let me down or was never eye wiped by another terrier. I just never trust a terrier no matter how much I trust them lol
  12. i agree. and if you dont check how do you learn if the dog is 100%. as you only have the dogs word for it. and even though it finds regular that dont mean its not missing the occasional oneCorrect. I remember one day a long time ago I along with a few friends met up with other lads for a days digging. The talk they were coming out with about these dogs nearly put fear into me about taking my dogs out of the van. In particular they had a prize bull Russell dog that had (apparently) some great digs under his belt and they thought the world of him. Anyway the first spot that morning we ran was a
  13. As a rule of thumb no matter how much you trust a terrier I always double check with another dog after a terrier has gave a negative mark along a bank whether it entered and ran the burrow or just had a sniff and wasnt interested. It only takes a few seconds to do and it puts your mind at rest to any doubts you may have especially if the spot looks well used. Even when I would be out in other company I would encourage it to be done and explain its not for doubting any mans dog because i gladly will let them double check an earth after my own terrier has said "no" I thought most guys do the s
  14. I live beside a couple off halting sites and there's no bother out off them, none of that carryon anyway. They know there place and if anything was to happen the boyos wouldn't be long going into the site and sorting the mess out! That's the way to keep them.
  15. LADs Lets add names to this or pm if you like just so i can keep these C**TS out, a dog was stolen in charville and popped up over in england at show and believe me the man holding the dog never helded one again after the bating he got, told a blind lie and said he had it since a pup but the only way to prove it was the tail was broken at the very end The lads im talking about even if I gave you names will make no differance because if you were a thick enough person to do something to these people you would only be walking yourself in to serious bother now im no small man or there is not a man

  17. I picked up on that straight away lolNice dog Aaron, we had one a few years back that was decent around holes and cover for foxes but can't mind were he ended up or what happened him. Good luck with finding a bitch.
  18. I don't know exactly what do you mean by "mix", it means to bite ? If it means to bite, they are more barkers than mixers. Betty, the left one on the pic, is my best jack (10 badgers in 5 hunts this season without any serious injury). Her weight 4,5 kg, so she can't be fighting directly with the badger for a long time. She hunts the badger very close, few centimetres and she barks. Sometimes, some jack try to struggle with the badger. I don't like it because generally badger is the first winner and the vet the second winner. Well said Blaise, keep us updated.
  19. sorry for the late answer. dont know how but dont saw your post! they are from b. nuttall himself or bred by us and a close friend. just worked by us! Thank you for your reply bitchie, if you don't mind me asking did you's get terriers off the man at a particular stage and they suited yourselves so you's bred down from that or would you's still to this day get off him from time to time and if so what's your view on the comparison if any ?
  20. Are these BN bred terriers from the mans yard within the past few years, or nuttal strain that have been bred from by guys that own and work them ?
