    I'd assume most people would keep dogs to the rear off the house and don't have a number on there back door.     Each to there own and why not. Some off the lads hit lucky and dogs worked and they bred between themselves but the breeding behind wouldn't be to clear. Some folk would be bothered by that others ain't. Best of luck anyway lad.

    We're the same here lakie/Russell's, border/lakie/Russell, pat/Russell's. it works for us, worker/worker will always take preference over a type. There's a bit off bull in the Russell types i know of, some more than others. the Russell's I have seen done what was asked off them and I'm told others are the same if not better so I've no reason to question the matter.

    It's a shame these lads lost a good bitch especially on a dig as deep as that. Rather than argue over a few feet as what depth the hole looked in the pic and the method they used. They shared it with everyone and that's it. Any man on here trying to make a joke out off another mans loss in a situation like that, aint got much morals and obviously have never dug half that depth for a terrier before.

    This thread just made my day. If you want choc pups go for it. In the last decade I've seen a few choc pups in litters off blackdogs, they were not the first pick or second either. Does the colour make the difference ? I'm not racist BTW

    My mate has a black dog a fine stamp too and a great worker. Anyone we've met have always asked the breeding off the dog, his dam was a full Russell workerxworker bred down the years his sire was a borderxpatterdale same way bred just working stock digging dogs ! Is he a patterdale Because he looks like 1. hes the image off a booth bred dog back in the 90s big leggy type just a tidy animal and does his job well. He's not a patterdale but 99% of people just by the look off him would say he was, He's a blackdog, same as the rest off them TT and all included. Blackdogs.
