  1. Exactly so how can you say they are Shite? If someone wants to find out which pellet suits their gun just get a variety of Pellpax and give em a whirl. Just coz someone says somethings shite in a rabid doesn't mean they are in a S410 or any other gun
  2. Perhaps had less plumage being indoors in the warm? Their tiny underneath it all aren't they. My mate had one for years that used to fly free and go everywhere on his shoulder and nibble his ear. I think his dad necked it in the end for drinking his brew all the time or biting him or summat
  3. Sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone know what paint would be best for my galvanised larsen? My brother sells car paints etc and could do me any colour imaginable but he reckons I would have to do something (electrify?) to it so the paint sticks??? Cheers, gnipper
  4. AA field for me too in the s410. I used the penetrators in my falcon and they were quite accurate but a bit too heavy, the 16? grainers weren't too bad and the 20.5's were very effective at close range (popping phesy heads  ) ratting etc. They were sticking well in a sleeper at 60 odd yards in .22. what cross?

It could be Yorkie, the gypsys round me have loads of the things and must sell them. They also have the odd working terrier type nocking around and crossbreds. I'm pretty sure i've seen others the same with loads of lapdogs. Its like a shoal of yappy pirahna when you go round
  6. Or find a stick or dog. A length of bramble works to see what fur is down there too. I really don't like sticking my hand down holes and most of the time i have a glove with me, useful for nettles, brambles, rats and pissed off ferrets.
  7. Feck me wheres his coat???

  9. Some do some don't, good way of getting it slippy ready for the 'ooh sorry love it was an accident'
  10. Did the tube go further than ferret length? Is the ferret any good? Sometimes ye get a ferret that knows when a holes empty so won't bother going down it? I've had it in the past when the ferrets only gone in so far and its tail was all fluffed up so we let the dogs have a dig (this was 8 years ago when my terrier was a pup) and it turned out to be a rabbit that was side on and wedged tight in the tube that the ferret couldn't shift.
  11. I think you'll find you do  The mythical curvy bird loving man which you seek is what is more commonly reffered too as a Northerner, their like worzels round your way aren't they Gnipper
  12. Petite, dark haired, nice eyes and a nice personality and not boney. Opposite to most of the girls i've been with
  13. Smashed up? Kids, Maggies, hatched? Theres one nesting amongst a load of plants in pots on one of our sites.
  14. Is your partner overweight? If so then get them to walk 3 miles in the morning and 3 miles at night. After 2 weeks of this fitness regime ..................... The fat fecker will be 84 miles away
  15. Makes you shit your pants when one hits a pursenet Its also the first thing my terrier went to ground on too Cheers, gnipper
  16. 2" mesh fanfookintastic i've got loads of it knocking around. Obvious too when you think about it Cheers, gnipper
  17. I'd pushed bits of bamboo in the font of the tunnel to block out unwanteds but the little sod had shoved them out the way . Im gonna make some wire narrowers and nail them onto the front of the tunnels
  18. That's the bit generally known as the " Tiller Hook ", mate. I have one of those chink shit jobs gathering dust behind this work station. It's there because I threw it there, in disgust and contempt, when I took it out of it's package and the bloody Tiller fell off in my hands. It did so because the bloody things are just punched in. Crap materials and crap manufacture. Crap. Little tip for ye; If ye look on the Bay for Fenn Traps, run a search for John Dee Humane Traps. Believe me, there's no love lost between myself and that outfit. But they DO supply only Genuine Fenn Traps, direct fro
  19. Are things like these legal? Not sure how they work but they look useful and does away with the tunnel. http://www.wildlifecontrolsupplies.com/Mer...ry_Code=NWS00T3 Gnipper
  20. I didn't want the cheap ones mate I was pissed off when I opened the box but needed to shift some rats so they got used. The Springer/Fenns are much better.
  21. I've got a few bodygrippers ordered so does anyone fancy putting up a step by step picture post on setting/using them for me? Cheers, gnipper
  22. I bought 4 of them cheap ones off ebay that were sold to me as Fenns so wasn't too happy. The plates stick up too high on them imo and one of them the catch that the brass bit goes into is wonky and nearly caught me the first time i tried setting it but I hate to say it the buggers work.
  23. I put them in the middle mate. The tunnel can look like anything you want, I have some tunnels I made out of planks that are the exact dimensions for a trap to fit in set and fired that are about 18"-2ft in length which work well round sheds etc. In the woods etc you can use the same things but disguise them or make a tunnel out of logs or stones etc or just use a natural burrow but its more awkward. Some of the lads on here use wire tunnels on rat runs that i've seen. I always set the trap flush with the soil level and sprinkle some fine soil over the top of it (while the safety is on) alth
  24. I shot 25 in about an hour and a half the other week, i'm not even gonna bother with the maths but thats a pretty good hourly rate at £8 each. The butchers only give us £1-2 for the middle bit
  25. If you want i'll come and shoot a load for you so you can hear it with 3inch shells
