  1. I didn't want the cheap ones mate I was pissed off when I opened the box but needed to shift some rats so they got used. The Springer/Fenns are much better.
  2. I've got a few bodygrippers ordered so does anyone fancy putting up a step by step picture post on setting/using them for me? Cheers, gnipper
  3. I bought 4 of them cheap ones off ebay that were sold to me as Fenns so wasn't too happy. The plates stick up too high on them imo and one of them the catch that the brass bit goes into is wonky and nearly caught me the first time i tried setting it but I hate to say it the buggers work.
  4. I put them in the middle mate. The tunnel can look like anything you want, I have some tunnels I made out of planks that are the exact dimensions for a trap to fit in set and fired that are about 18"-2ft in length which work well round sheds etc. In the woods etc you can use the same things but disguise them or make a tunnel out of logs or stones etc or just use a natural burrow but its more awkward. Some of the lads on here use wire tunnels on rat runs that i've seen. I always set the trap flush with the soil level and sprinkle some fine soil over the top of it (while the safety is on) alth
  5. I shot 25 in about an hour and a half the other week, i'm not even gonna bother with the maths but thats a pretty good hourly rate at £8 each. The butchers only give us £1-2 for the middle bit
  6. If you want i'll come and shoot a load for you so you can hear it with 3inch shells
  7. Could you not just take them somewhere where there are...........Rabbits???? Save yourself quite a bit of cash too.
  8. When i was a kid i had one die who seemed fine after a run in with the terrier so i didn't take him the vets and i think he had internal injuries. His guts inflated over a period of about a week and then snuffed it and i don't think he passed any solids
  9. It might look funny but I bet the little buggers effective when your not wearing a sleeve I wouldn't want it ragging my forearm anyway
  10. Sent you a PM Lb

  13. Its more commonly known as skulking I think. Try handling it loads at home and then give it a try, you've got all summer for handling If that don't work you can either keep dragging it out with a dead rabbit or give it someone as a pet. Gnipper
