  2. Is that one of them European Greyhound Polecats?
  3. I get what your saying and i think i have stopped it a couple of times before it has started, But the 3 fights that they have had in the last 2 weeks have just happened out of the blue and i dont really know what has started it. The lurcher seems to get jelous if i stroke her and the staff comes over, but i dont really know the best way to stop this apart from telling her off and not paying either of them any attention for a while. Then i play with them together. Neil It's really hard to give you advice without seeing what's happening. I can tell you one thing for sure, if a fight is about t
  4. Now they have started you'll have a problem. You need to keep an eye on them and nip it in the bud as soon as it starts. You need to be able to read the signs and stop it before it happens, because once it does your too late.
  5. I've not had broken ribs but I've had fractured cartilage a couple of times (which apparently is more common) playing rugby and also with a motor bike accident. I can tell you it's very painful, it makes breathing, moving, laughing, coughing, sneezing, shagging and pretty much anything to do with moving difficult.
  6. If your that bothered, why don't you become one or rob one.
  7. Hello and welcome, Twas a good read, but please don't make all your posts as long as that as I'm a bit of a divvy .
  8. Funny that, yours does the same to me

    lost my mum

Lost my Father then my Mother last year, I feel your pain. Death is apart of life it comes to us all. If you have had a good life that's what really matters. Peace to your Mum.
  11. He wouldn't want you, you've only shot 2 rabbits, 2 squirrels in a month
  12. Air rifle targets or to throw at the dog if it's cocking a deafen.
  13. For those who say you can't stop a Lurcher from chasing/killing a cat, can I say you haven't tried hard enough. I walk my running dogs off the lead where ever I go and if I'd have let my dogs chase cats like they'd like to then I would have cat killers. I have chose not to let them, the same as I have chosen not to let them chase sheep or chickens etc. Life is complicated enough without the added grief of explaining yourself to angry neighbours or cat owners.
  14. Thanks. Is it usual for the dog to have no swelling and feel no pain?
  15. Cor! there's some weird shite on there, very entertaining.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BULLDOG-PUPPIES-TAXIDERMY-STUFFED-DOG-PERFECT-X-4-/290676397163?pt=UK_Collectables_AnimalCollectables_SM&hash=item43ada9d46b#ht_1429wt_1185 Check this one out
  16. Yes ligament is the right word and I assume the ligament is completely fractured as the toe is pretty well flat. With regard to cutting the nail back to the toe, after this is done I will need to stem the blood flow with potassium permanganate? And if completely ruptured a months rest is enough? My line of thought is, if the ligament is ruptured then the other toes will need to compensate the bad toe. The lack of support from the bad toe, increases the pressure on the other toes by 25% and this compensation can only be achieved over time. Would your honour say this is correct?
  17. Feck me! no one knows about popped tendons?
