  1. I still take my dogs out daily and they catch stuff. Is this hunting? I don't lamp or ferret, because my feet would get ripped, stung to bits in my flip flops.
  2. Cheers for the replies. Now sorted.
  3. For £50, it has to be a Okuma. I would go for a slightly second hand reel and get a Shimano or a Diawa.
  4. As above preferably 4 stroke, but not to fussed. Must be suitable for 10/12 year old, say 70-80cc and not too far from Kent although if the price is right will travel or courier.
  5. You should all train your dogs a bit better........ no seriously it's a proper worry. It's much worse with dogs I find, that's one of the reasons I like mainly bitches. My bitches hunt at different ranges, which suits me fine. If my Bull x goes out of sight on a rabbit, she will either catch it or it will go to ground and she will return. If she goes missing for a good while I have to stay put and call. She will return when what ever she is doing is done. She so far at the ripe old age of 4 1/2 never hunted on for ages, so I guess I am lucky or an expert dog man . Now I recently acquired

  11. It is a tape worm cyst, but it'll take more than a few days to kill it. A couple of weeks to be sure, tape worm are resilient to hard frosts.
  12. Shame you never asked me to come, I can run a lot faster than you.http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/239632-paid-ferreting-m25/page__fromsearch__1
  13. And then once the dog is " contained "......they shoot it dead !! Well, what else could they do? once it's contained? noose-on-a stick it and into the van,not rocket science. then give it back to it's owner,or if he's in for a long wait leave it with whoever he says. Sorry mate that was my attempt at sarcasm
  14. Not bad news, sounds like a great dog. It would certainly be given a good home here, it sounded like a hero! Don't know what the man done, he could of possibly been a complete b*****d but his dog was loyal and that's what dogs are mean't to be . RIP the "Pit Bull type dog."
