It's not always good having the most choice maybe just look for the type you like whether strong racy, quiet ,full on etc but pick a good eater what ever you pick, makes like much easier

If I was in the market Ross ,it would be the one I'd be interested in.caught my eye straight away.

Pup looks a lump trigger, hope to see him do the job in a season or 2. We'll all have a pup to bring on and will be time for a road trip
-
I speak to jacobevo on here and he puts some graft in front of Troy would add a lot to a lurcher I reckon
-
I think they tend to tell you when they want solids if you feed the bitch in with the pups, they'll find their way over to the bowl . I think junior is going to be a forward pup the way he's going though dai
-
See if deben will let you have a shine with one of theirs I bet they send one let you have it a season on trial lol

We may be passing you soon w.....

Fact is if you don't know someone and they have a stud you want ,you may have to pay. I agree it's nice and amicable that someone gives their dogs services for free, But it don't always happen,as some lads ain't in the 'loop'

I have a watch with a gold body and white face, if that's any good to you ,although the Egyptian that sold it to me says it's 24ct I have my doubts as it only cost me £3.50

You seriously need to get out more lol Sorry don't mean that to sound nasty but you need to see some that have bull in them and work to a decent standard. Anyways enough high jacking the lads thread .

I honestly believe if you saw either work,it would change your mind shaark. I am not one to big dogs up pal,as I believe there's always better. But I've seen both work ,do dawn to dusk And still want more ,and in spite of(or because of) bull,in their breeding. I know one thing though mate if a dog had a little of anything in its breeding if both parents worked well I have a pup if they done the work that suited me.

Very true what you say there roybo, and my eye is drawn immediately to that dark brindle every time I log on to this site lol. BUT, even though neither parents are bull x's per se, with bull in both of them, and quite a lot in the sire, I personally wouldn't take a punt on one, even though they are very nice pups the sire has about 3/16 bull not a massive amount of personally why wouldn't you take a punt ,just don't like bull in the breeding.

There must be some good ones out of Hancock's yard ,if you breed 5 litters or more a year out of collies and greyhounds There BOUND to be some decent dogs if a few get in the right hands, stands to reason. Doesn't make it right though. But same old story when the very word of collie cross is mentioned Hancock gets battered for being a peddlar ,and every back yard breeder lies about what's in there stock , old and boring now if you want a Hancock crack on If you want a pup from worked parents there a couple of litters for sale on here right now that will do a decent lurchers job.

You know you want a fancy Merle one dai... Red or black you want, then you can spin on the roulette table to pick lol
-
I think the main point ,is the dog is well fed and looked after,it's summer and I wouldn't expect a dog to be 'fit' this time of year as a dog can't keep peak fitness for 12 months a year it would be detrimental to the dog .As come December a dog would be knackered. But keeping them something like won't hurt them . And stands them in good steed when you need them to start. Back to summer plans...let the dogs take it easy ,repair and rest, get the runs and garden sorted ,then start getting them fit come end of August ,maybe do a bit of camping
-
Seen all 3 dogs work that dai posted pics of . Must say I can see a few cracking lurchers being born out this litter. The bitch is one of the most driven ,mad for it bitch I've seen she caught where you couldn't barely walk. Will run through brick walls to catch. The sire is a cracker too saw him catch some big bags and then some . I bred the sire so that's why he's decent lol... Just to make it not sound like I'm kissing arse ....the lads a bit of a tosser like but if you can get round that , If you want a lurcher that will fill a walk in freezer I'd pm for dais number
