I was simply referring to what I'd do if I bred again socks But as you say the odd litter does throw 12 or so and throws a spanner in the wheel of your plans... Good luck hope they get the homes they deserve. And the lads that have them keep you posted

Just saying if you breed a litter ,to put the word out before you breed as it is nice to now you have a fair few homes before hand. I had enough homes for 10 and turned some away and then one dropped out and one came back ,thankfully she had 7

If I ever breed another litter I'd hope the majority would have homes before I bred. Or else not breed . If you have 8 spare pups going for £400, By the time they was 8 weeks and still here the price would drop sharpish when no one calls with any interest I was lucky when I bred there was more wanting that pups she had,so was able to turn some away who I wasn't sure of ,but on the whole they went to decent homes and am still in touch with every one.

I've seen the sister to the dam of these (I think) And also the brother when he had 3 legs They certainly pull no punches and caught in places they had no right to .

If you are happy with the bitch,maybe look at using a similar bred dog ,maybe a 1/2 brother or cousin etc or even the father, probably a better chance of replicating what you have. Adding totally different breeding can throw all sorts up and may not get what you want. I used a Saluki x over my bull x bitch And although good lurchers I didn't get what the mother had

Just to add it's a shame they are so under valued, as they are worth their weight in gold the enjoyment you get out of them , I paid £100 10 year ago for this old bitch And if it was pay as you go I'd gladly pay that for every season she's given me,and still think I've had a bargain.

As said £150 -£200 But if I had the feeling they'd get worked hard and the lad was a decent sort ,or it was a mate who recommended them I'd probably give for free under the understanding it comes back to me or I get a say where it goes if they can't keep. A few days out or knowing how the pup is doing would be plenty of payment. Trouble is it's not always repaid,so makes you wonder if it's worth helping lads out . I'd certainly pay more than that if I really want a pup though . So put the price on them that's a middle ground between keeping messers away and good lads interested ,an

Looks a fair size there dai . But hopefully you get lucky and you have a small litter I couldn't be doing with a big litter .easier to pick and easier to place in homes.

yes all that and the fact that they are sold on as soon as they get beat ,by some egotistical owners,and don't take bad treatment well or being passed on,from pillar to post. I personally wouldn't discount a dog because it had a breed in it ,particularly one that can bring so much

I doubt there's many running dogs alive that could manage a wolf single handed. Even if they could I doubt it would be quick ,and the damage would be terrible. So what's all this complaining about 3 dogs, I'll have a pup off anyone who's lurcher can take them single handed lol

I had a woman come to the house and scan mine ,only 25 quid I think, she said 8 and that's what she had ,although she did say they an lie behind each other so can be hard to tell
