  10. Hi mate , and welcome I have just been out with my HW97KT and its actually mind blowing how accurate this rifle is! my advice is one , buy cheap buy twice- get a good rifle to start with and two, try the guns before you buy, if possible.. the more comfortable you are with a gun the better you will shoot it. the HW80 is a legend amongst air rifles, and rightly so! a tx200 or hw , 97, 77, 98 , 95 would be your best bet, there all quite heavy tho, apart from the 95, that's a lightweight . all as accurate as eachother so no need to worry about that. and its not true that a break

  17. i had a sporter years ago, then took a break from shooting.. got a bsa lightning xl and it wasn't the best quality and I knew I needed something better, had a look on line and in the mags and I seen the black 97kt and thought oooh had one before, but not a thumbhole. part exed the lightning and got one, cracking gun.. had a stage where I liked my black guns tactical look seemed cool, but then I wanted to have a nice piece of wood on it instead, so part exed the black one for a beech thumbhole and ohh my I love it, it feels better, and looks a lot better
