    I shouldered a gun in the gunshop t'other week and when I looked through the scope it was a 30/30 .. felt young again its that long since ive used one! haha was a nice change from looking at a mildot / Christmas tree type ret tho im thinking of buying a cheap little plinker, just to have a messs about with some iron sights, for the laugh!

    Was hoping to find that it was an old hw77 or .. but it was not to be infact it was a Chinese? underlever , with a missing back sight, scratched stock, rusty action . and half a tin of 'marksman' pellets nearly laughed in her face! but had to refrain as it was my mums friend from the yard where she keeps her horse I half cocked it and after grinding its way through the cocking stroke It was so stiff .. after a sniff at a restoration project for £30 I didn't think it would be worth the extra money in seals grease blue and sandpaper and oil to even bother.. even thought

    Like my neighbours..... its un-necessary hassle for me waiting in for the police to come, then they find nothing is wrong.. so I don't even allow my neighbours a reason to ring them in the first place.. one copper turned up and said on the phone my neighbour said I " was shooting your shotgun, towards houses and children " I nearly fell on the floor with laughter. anyway point is if you have Dic**ead neighbours don't even give them chance to ring cops in first place. I stick to my permission if im shooting. my garden isn't that big, and its a council estate so IF I had a ricochet

    Basically.. ,22 hits harder but doesnt fly as flat and flies slower. So more holdover is needed at further ranges With pcp you normally get more shots in .22 With springer .22 is easier to cock and recoil slightly less .177 pellets are cheaper so better for targets. .22 is IMO better for hunting

    I know what you mean mate. My guns get a lot more paper and metal.. than blood When i had my black 97kt i had a mamba 4-16x50 on it. Was a big heavy bugger but it felt solid. Good scopes them mtc

    im going to try mine on my bedroom unit thingy where my tv and xbox are, right next to the window. going to make a backstop and make sure I don't kill my tv lol, obviously im not going to shoot it out of the window I have one of those everlasting energy efficient lightbulb things lol. hopeing it will be ok with the natural light from outside tho. if not its a permission trek everytime I need a gun tested lol

    well just ordered an F1 chrony should arrive on Monday .. shall see how it gets on with the indoor lights.. and try it on the permission aswel. also I will use my combro at the same time and see if there is a difference in readings.. never quite fully trusted the combro.. il keep you all updated

    generally speaking jsb exact are good pellets but try as many brands as you can. try AA field aswel and H&N FTT .....and as many more as you can
