Ive seen them  -
Nice shooting daz.. quick question, does the rear of the stock come pre drilled to take a sling stud/swivel when you buy the rifle brand new? or do you have to drill and fit the studs/swivels yourself, or have the gunshop do it for you.. and what bipod would you recommend?

Skot Ruthless Teale replied to Andy_c's topic in Airgun Hunting
HW100KT ??? got to be .22 for hunting imo although, them 2 squirrels my 9 ft lb hw97kt .177 whacked this morning both came down no problem -
They said they had 3 in stock but .177, and my bank account/cred cards wont quite stretch.. until I get paid so if its not a nice looker il ask if I can see the other ones and see if they will swap them round if theres a nicer one
-
going to have to trade in my 95k .177 and my .22 97kt to fund it and just keep my .177 97 KaTie then il have her as my plinker to keep my self sharp and make sure I don't develop too many bad habits when my new hunting (mainly) rifle comes... HW 100 K T .22 (hunting main use) hope I get a sexy looking one if they have a few in in the shop and I prefer the stock of another one do you think they would get arsey about swapping stocks around..? is that too much to ask?

Ayup lads, Had a really good night camping down on the permission yesterday shot the best ever 35 yard group of my life, with KaTie and the 4.50 FTT's ... 10 shots, 9 going through the same hole that was about 11mm edge to edge! and 1 wobble that went below by a pellet width, all shots easily buried by a 5p.. And got 2 squirrels this morning .. but then Disaster struck, in a moment of madness I deleted the pictures pressed the wrong fu ng button on the phone, before I got chance to upload them to photobucket. so sorry guys

I think they work best on a pcp to be honest I think they work best on a pcp to be honest I think they work best on a pcp to be honest True but if there isn't much recoil on the stage2 I can't see why it wouldn't be as good on the 97? Or lookin the bay at Cree torches there bright and will do the job nicely Think Si did a vid on VHTV somewhere he had the ns50/200 on his S2 SFS 97kt and it seemed ok. just get a hw100
-
im guessing there had wood with like a shiney finish to them, watch for ricochet mate if cops come they might not be happy with the safety of them might be best off getting a few big bags of sand and putting your targets on them
-
 that's a good 'un
-
did you try what I said about laying a torch on the floor towards some bait? if you go set that up a few nights in a row and let them get used to it with out you disturbing them they might get more confident, then you can be there a few days later, and whack a few before they click on about whats going on.
-
Practice does make perfect. my shooting has improved a lot since last year. put the range time in and see the results . I can shoot my 97kt pretty well 5p groups at 35 yards when I get it right, that's the beauty of a springer tho they show you whos boss and fight back!

Pairing Pellets With Rifles?
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to GSkye's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Take me for example. I always have thought AA Field are good pellets, and they will work quite well in most rifles. and im not sponsored by air arms to be saying that, im just an average joe they might not be 'the best' but they will always be good enough. same with JSB exact, H&N FTT, etc.. get a good pellet and it will work well,. then compare 3,4,5 ... brands of good pellets in the same gun and some will be better than others. then try the exact same pellets in another gun and im pretty sure you will get different results! -

Nice one mate! have a shoot with it first bet its a right dog to shoot! then you can compare when you get it back. I bet it will be at least 10 million times better -
mate get well hidden about 15-25 yards away, and make sure you know your aimpoint. and stay as still as you possibly can set up a bait that wont move and try light it up very dim so you can just see the rats , could lay a torch on the floor about 10, 20 yards away from it keep the light sstill and on constant and they might come out, rather than flickering lights every 2 mins from you turning a torch on and off... see if that works. you don't need to see the full rat in 1080p color hd, just enough to see its outline so you know where its head is
-
That's after it had been in a carrier bag for about 20 mins. when I first picked it up blood was dripping out onto my hands, as usual lol so it all went in the bottom of the bag with its head lol thanks mate. my little 9 ftlb unturned boinger still does a good job
