    also i cant fault the rifle for accuracy, its just over longer range i want that bit more power.. just to make sure.. if i only wanted to shoot at 20 yard id hav got a frikkin rat catcher n saved myself a lot of money...

    iv only been droppping animals at close range.. iv deffo hit a rabbit in the head at about 40 yards n it shud hav been dead but it ran off.... i dont care about power i know i can shoot well out to about 50 yards yeh i try get close but sometimes you gota take a few long rangers, wood pigeons etc.. at close range its spot on but id like to know if i want to take a slightly longer range shot, its wel within my capabilities to do so, that the pellet wud stil hav enuf energy to humanely take down the target.if i had 11.5 at the muzzle then thats guna hav a lot more kinetic energy left at 50 yds t

    iv had my 177 bsa lightning xl about 5 weeks (had it ordeered in brand new) its seen about 400 pellets thru it so far an today i got my chrono. anyway air arms 10.5 ftlb super h point 9 ftlb wtf am i paying for???!!! majorly dissapointed and a bit miffed about what i shud do.. any advice lads?

    when i was out lamping a few years ago the rabits were lamp-shy. we shone the lamp around the field and there was a rabbit right next to a fence. as it turned to bolt because it was lampshy it hit the fence post head on an nocked itself clean out. my mate went an picked it up an broke its neck.. even to this day we still dont stop hearing about 'that time when i caught a rabbit [bANNED TEXT] ma bare hands' lol

    for shooting pigeons in barn i have an led energiser rubber impact general household torch LOL but its alll you need. can stil hold rifle steady and torch in same hand at 5-20 yards which is all you shud need in the barns. havent been properly 'lamping' rabbits for a few years but i had i think it was a 1million candlepower clulite or sumat like that which just poped on top of scope. on an off switch was on the lamp itself which to be honest i think was originally designed for dogs. stil did the job

    like i sed it was truly epc! 1 in a million. i thought id dry fired or blank fired woteva you call it [bANNED TEXT] theres no pellet loaded, but then it fell of the branch n i looked at him n he looked at me.. then i knew we both got it at same time!!. an probly wont ever do it like that again, not even with a countdown.

    hey everybody just a quick review of my new rifle. in the past iv had hw99s hw 97k aa s200 s410k and a few bsa supersports an the old lightning. all in .22.. had a break for around 2-3 years and wanted to start goin shootin again. looked around online for a cheap reliable springer to get me started up again. was guna get another supersport but the lightning xl just appealed to me as it wub b new to me. went to the gunshop an got a scope an bag. got hawke 1 piece mount an ags tactical elite mil dot 3-9X40 . all i can say is for £65 its a really good scope. amazing clarity and reticle is qui

    hey everybody me and my mate went shooting other day an the most amazing thing happened. he was in front an i saw a grey squirrel run up a tree to our left atv around 20yards. got the gun shouldered an ready saw the squirrel thru a gap an followed him in the scope. he sat stil and i steady'd up just to the right of his eye (he was facing to the left, side on) breathed out and squeezed the trigger... didnt know if my mate was ready or could see the bugger. anyway heard a bang louder than usual, the squirrel fell straight down and my mate started pissing his self. turns out we shot at near enu
