I like a good argument Chris but on this one I totally agree with you. Doesn't matter if guilty or not. To me that's irrelevant. If you leave your child in that position then money won't fix it. I also agree that 80% of child abuse happens from a close family relative in the family home and people turn a blind eye because of the shame that would bring on your family to keep it quiet or maybe to protect the victim that didn't want it known out of embarrassment and that's fair enough but to take a settlement says all you need to know about the fact your child has a price that when it's paid its

That's the thing that worries me most is that most of the people settled for money. What kind of father would whore out their child then cause a stir and get a million and forget about. How can they justify that and say Michael was ok he showed my son how to milk a cow blindfolded. Bells, alarms and all the security in the world that protected him but I was happy to let my son have a sleepover with a 40 year old man and then complain after. Doesn't matter if he was a peadophile or not you don't let your kids be put in that situation. I've some real good friends that I would trust my life with

Any one breeding any Saluki bull greyhound’s
jiggy replied to monkey's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I was thinking of adding saluki blood to my wheaten cross. I don't know much about Salukis but I heard they ignore you so with the dog I have that keeps jumping on top of me with excitement every time I let him out of kennel and nearly knocks me down and destroys my clean clothes I reckon a touch of saluki blood would make him fcuk off up the garden away from me and give me a chance to wash the kennels in peace.? Others would probably breed them in for stamina and I'm guessing the catch percentage would rise if you infused the right blood. Maybe I'm wrong but I just want my big cobby dog to st -
I agree with that and in quiet country areas these attacks rarely happen even if there is black families living there. Gang mentality starts when you've 40 young fellas all the same age living in one housing estate. They are only 16 years old but can see they have strength in numbers and cause shit because people are afraid of what retaliation will come from that group if they slap an individual for been a clown. I've seen loads of young big strong rural teenagers that are twice as strong as the city rats but are polite, helpful, don't start shit and don't walk around with the swagger that th

Hunting drive in that situation doesn't need a high octane dog.A beagle will disappear on a line. A springer will wreck your boat if your gone away. A terrier will bark and go to ground. While all these are good at certain situations if you can handle them, one of the best bushers I had was a Labrador. I was young and didn't have experience in training. The dog trained itself, then trained me, didn't wander, didn't fight , didn't wreck the place and let kids climb all over it without aggression. Great dog to hunt fox, rabbit ,and anything else from cover. Sometimes slower to get there than a sp

True in the school I went to you would definitely get wedgeys and bullied if you started sharing your knowledge of composers, conductors , opera or pantomime. Even if you did know shut up or you will receive several heel kicks from size 6 Doc Martins boots of less educated teenagers. I went to opera in Venice with missus and pantomine in Dublin with the kids and they were the most painful hours i ever spent in my life. One lot is run by wealthy people who use it to look down on the poorer classes and if they pretend to shed a tear at the emotional bits they will look not just wealthy but educa

Who are we mere mortals to question him ???

I had a beer with John parks and he was a soft spoken gentleman. I still didn't believe him though when he said he dug 70 foot into a hill to get a dog.

True but if your the manager and back down right or wrong and look like a coward then can you retake respect of the dressing room.

It's there for the taking now and I wouldn't be bitter if they took it. Ireland were never cocky because they were never in a position to be before but coming into this tournament after beating the all blacks them young lads thought they were gods gift but learned a harsh lesson that nothing is for free. Lucky to get past Italy and educated now.

Must be underlying issues? If Alex ferguson, Graham souness or Roy Keane was managing then he would of left wearing a head butt. To challenge the manager in the first place shows you don't respect him and for him to tolerate that shows he is not capable either.

Had that problem when I took on a wheaten. I should of got a collie or a whippet.

(People under the stairs) I still haven't recovered ? Then watched ( bad taste ) which should of won an oscar ? I'd imagine they are still on you tube as cult classics. Full metal jacket was the first VHS I ever watched. My ma hired out the player for the day for my holy communion because we couldn't afford to buy one. About 1987 and not long after 8 track tapes. Used to have to put 50 pence in the telly that was on rent aswell. When the old man came home from pub he always had a pocket full of change and we helped ourselves.

Probably not iron mike won most of his fights without using a jab because he was too short. He was a far better fighter to watch though. Them big monsters around now should be given a different division. Big rangey men with huge reach that can't be got at that are boring as hell but are hard to get at. Not pretty to look at but hard to hit. Mass beats ability when your 6 foot 9 inch and 20 stone. Furey is able to move for a big man and an awkward fight for anyone.

Never ending story was good when I was 9 and I fell in love with that girl until I seen one night in Paris ?

You have been in my kitchen with my half glen and it was going to lick you to death. Had a good few digs over her but when it came to the crunch then no she wasn't a complete digging dog. I got I attached to her and she sleeps at my feet every night. I've culled far better but for some reason she doesn't leave my side. Sleeps on my feet and waits with her head on her paws until I come home

All the big names have something in common! They sold dogs good or bad and made names from bullshit and lies. The mute working dog today would of been useless back then until locators became available. Also all game was killed so the chance of digging an animal that was released on FairPlay after been dug 5 times which meant the educated game was a different aspect than the tuck your head under your shoulder type. Funny how some of the names were school teachers or interested in literature and knew how to spin a good yarn. Peddlars and liars they would be accused of now. People are easier to b

Poitin. I drank a bottle on Tuesday and went to bed and never got up until Thursday. The most amazing part was not eating, drinking or peeing for 48 hours and still been clean. Whole body just shut down.

I'm just waiting on some Cnut to post that the guy with the 3 nice terriers in his yard that I stole from him set me up for life. His lifetimes work and 3 generations thieves can achieve in 5 minutes.
-
I thought that too. But some of the cork lads with white dogs are top men. No money changed hands which is the cause of all evil. They would fill your yard with dogs if they trusted you.Every dog was gifted and if circumstances changed then you would call them first before moving dogs. That doesn't mean that that phone calls don't happen and arguments happen but I'd call that passion and you can argue about ability over whichever dog or lines but money was never mentioned.

I've often been called pigheaded so when I seen this dude in local butchers I said yeah I'll have a look at that. Most people research first but I just buy on a whim and worry about it after. Should I roast or boil is the real question and flavours to add.? My woman for some reason said fcuk off I'm not eating something that is still looking at you.?

I think it depends on the ability of the player like most instruments and also the quality of the piece they play. There was a pipe band a few hundreds from me when I was a kid and it was like banshees on practice night. I even went a few times myself before I realised I didn't have the gift but hung around because their was a few young ones spinning them fluffy drumsticks around in short skirts. They were like a council housing estate version of cheerleaders. ???

Heard of that happening in the news a few times. Down and outs or junkies robbing old folk because they'd be afraid of tackling a young able bodied man. Tie them up after taking their money so they have enough time to escape before they can call police. Poor old sods probably die from blood circulation cut off from hands or feet or a heart attack from shock. Even when they survive they never feel comfortable in their own homes for their last few years. Don't know why people would argue over sentences. Should be strung up and left with a few bull queers to find out what vulnerable is.
