    I could understand a teenage girl that doesn't understand been under pressure and terrified but drop the kid into a hotel or McDonald's or whatever. Survival is pretty slim outside in that weather. My granny died last month (94) and a nun arrived from England for funeral and told me that as a child she was an orphan and was put up in a house up the road where she slept as a child and had nowhere to go for food. She told me when my granny had 12 kids to look after of her own that she fed her aswell every day when she was also poor. That woman cried her eyes out into that coffin when i told her

    It is depending which end of the spectrum you end up on. I've seen a lad that made it to the UFC getting his arse handed to him several times by smaller men on the street. I would rather keep my mouth shut as he should of done. No matter how good anyone is you will eventually meet your match if constantly looking for it.     Hope they are better with incubator than me. 10 thousand eggs over a 2 year period and I got 50 chicks. 35 of them were stinking guinea hens that I forgot about and never checked water level or temperature because I didn't really want them. 35 hatched out of 38 eggs. ? Fifty cent for pheasant eggs at the time when you could buy day olds for 70 cent.?. I won't be hatching falcons for the foreseeable future at that price. ?

    I often wondered about farmers hanging dead crows out of stakes to scare the rest away. Then the local pigeon / crow shooter stacks a sh1t load of them in a horse shoe shape to draw them in. ?

    I often wondered with live cage trapped rats do they communicate. Easy catch the first one but if it's left there long the others don't seem to take. The snap type kill traps could take a dozen in same spot. I reckon they grass you up.

    They are like the electric squawkers with 10 bird noises that companies fit on buildings at probably a grand a pop to supply and fit. Work for a few days until pest controller gets his cheque. Seagulls and crows ain't stupid. Grey crows know the distance a shotgun ranges and will circle by at 90 yards laughing. They know the difference between somebody with a gun or no gun too. That's why they can live for 20 year.

    Don't know the difference between Irish hare and brown hare except that brown hares are supposed to be bigger with a black stripe on the tail( google ?) I wonder if it effected brown hares would it also effect Irish hares. The hares around me are huge reddish things with no black on their tails but I couldn't see any other type been bigger or the foxes would be afraid of them. My first cross wheaten got within a hundred yards of one once after he accidentally stepped on it.

    Piss on your fingers then dip them in a bag of lime. Urine is sterile and the lime will seal cuts.?? I wouldn't advice eating chips with vinegar that evening though. It might sting a little.

    Poor old mike is probably the only legend that didn't sell a dog. Even frank buck said a five pound note can't catch parvo. In other words sell them before they die.THL code of conduct must be a new thing. I never did sell a working dog because they were all just average.

    It's a funny old world when half the lads on here were liking the bill brightmore ( or Whatever his name is) thread and spoke about how great a hunting man he was but he admitted on camera to selling over 1000 Russell's to America. I'm sure they were all tried and tested. The only difference been he wore a woolly jumper instead of a pair of nikes and a tracksuit with white socks.

    I know of a male mental nurse who also owns a well respected butcher shop in a neighbouring town who was caught climbing off a bed and closing the button on his pants of a serious mentaly Ill male patient ?Nothing could be proven but it's surprising how top brass in some of those homes don't want to deal with the fallout if something happens and risking their own jobs for incompetence so it's buried in the sand and the culprit is asked to leave on good terms.     I could understand somebody not wearing a poppy because they are from a different persuasion or had seperate wars so they didn't agree with them and that's fine but still it's bad form disrespecting any memorial of whatever nation.

    Heard a howling noise at 5.15am and I peeked out through curtains and there was a dire wolf sitting in my driveway staring up at it. It grumbled something that sounded like ( fcuking clouds again ) and then it pissed off back up the road disappointed.
