  7. france looked a poor team, and england should put 20 points on them, cant see the french scoring a try unless a lucky interception or similar ireland werent awful, but did lack penetration. england looked a fair team yesterday; not good enough to avoid a hiding from the big 3 southern hemisphere teams, but just decent. wales i thought didnt look too bad behind the scrum, but their tight five arent as strong as they have been in recent years i think england will be dominant in the scrum and the welsh backs will struggle without good ball. expect england to keep it tight, and use the space
  8. this is turning into the best thread since "The Offliner" http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/250758-so-mad-i-cannot-describe/
  9. diarrhoea is normally quite easy to clear up, no food but lots of fluid, as has been said 48 hours is normally enough but can go longer if necessary and the dog is not actually seeming ill. but some v iruses are really bad, and obviously a virus does not respond to antibiotics. as darcy said, you may end up in a position where you are supporting the dogs system for a longer period until it can fight off the virus itself, and this may even lead to putting the dog on a drip, which the vet will advise you on. dehydration is your biggest enemy.
  10. well england showed flashes of class, ansd just as many moments of infuriating amateurishness. compared to frances display against italy, we should outclass the frogs, but to be honest i dont think we will trouble a decent defence too often; i think england will roll ireland, the irish have looked one dimensional so far and lack a couple of leaders on the pitch. i think the welsh backs will trouble us more than any other team though, and i find it hard to see past wales for the champuionship. but we live in hope!
  11. ireland game was ploddy and dull, at least there was a bit of fire and passion in the other match. but apart from jamie roberts, who will smash farrell to bits when they meet up in midfield, i havent seen anything i think will remotely trouble the english. but having said that, i havnet seen enough of the english yet to know if we trouble the other defences....

  16. well, the england scrum looked better than it did against australia, but the backs lacked a bit of penetration. dont think that was down to anything the scots did in particular but i think we miss burrell. eastmond might be worth a game too. also, why was farrell kicking when ford was in the team? i think ford is the beter of the two
  17. i heard frank being interviewed about mental health issues on radio 4 about a year ago, it was the most thoughtful and intelligent interview i have evr heard him give, he came across really well and explained a lot about his experiences on the down side, i heard a rumour that he had a run in a little while ago with some tinkers and ended up with a few of them giving him a beating, dont know how true that is though.we often see him in leighton buzzard, always has a wave and a smile for evryone. good old frank should stay that way, good old frank, not climbing back in the ring and risk g
  18. scotland beat japan and usa and scrape past samoa and they are the best home nation? dont make me laugh. ireland are lacking a few big names but still dangerous, wales look classy and i think must be favourites. france are a disgrace, they get worse each year and really all the home nations should be c apable of beating them. i think italy will struggle as usual. and england? lancaster didnt create a bad side, and to be honest i think the backs are as good as they have been for years, but i really am worried about the scrum, getting dismantled by australia in thje world cup was very poor
