  1. what does a reverse do that a first cross can't do? first cross has everything that the reverse has plus a bit more pace
  2. lol dont forget bailing twine i think farmers are born genetically able to see every possible use for baling twine.......tight feckers!! https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/101-uses-for-baler-twine.2855/
  3. i have always been a fixer, except for motors. but since the kids came i find i have less and less time so now have a shed half-full of broken crap, just waiting for the day when i have a little time to myself....
  4. the road i take into berkhamstead runs for several miles through ashridge forest, absolutely heaving with fallow (they shot something like 600 last year apparently) 40 mph limit and loads of warning signs but they still drive like maniacs and there are lots of accidentsd. but the worst i ever saw was about 9 years ago on the A11 near thetfiord, 5 oclock one summer morning i saw a car which had run up into the hedge, ambulance and police already in attendance. i pulled up to see if i could help and there was a good sized red stag almost ripped in half smashed into the hedge and partly under the
  5. never done it personally, but know of several instances. my mate shot two fallow with one 308 round only a couple of weeks ago

He needs all the paper work first so he can put everything in place with out that there is no one to point the blame thats why there messing about withholding it and running every one about as they no it costs ££ If it was easy it would all be over and done by now To bring any case we need proof of who did what and who was responsible for what so we no whos to blame for the different things hes found wrong Surely the organisation is responsible for the actions of it's members/staff. Works with trade unions and with companies, after all you do not prosecute the spanner wielder when a c
  7. Native species are definitely a no no. I have trained my dogs not to chase kangaroos and wallabies although they do relapse sometimes. It seems dogs can tell an animal is wild as they never ever chase stock but have a couple of times ignored me and set sail after kangaroos and wallabies even though they clearly knew it is not allowed, cheeky buggers just don't seem to be able to resist. yep, despite my bitch being 100% with livestock, it was very difficult to stop her chasing roos.
  8. as far as i recolllect you can hunt introduced species but not native with dogs. at least, that was the case in Western Australia when I was there (about 15 years ago lol). seriously, I took my first cross border collie/grey with me, she did 30 days quarantine and was a bit loopy for a few days after coming out but soon settled back to her old self. we didnt hunt pigs but there were plenty of rabbits, and although they tell us collie curs dont make good fox dogs, she took quite a few of them
  9. interesting you should say that. the lad has always taken his fitness very seriously, and the whole thing started when we were talking about training, and i suggested he should join a boxing club if only to look at different training methods to what he was used to. he came across this white collar stuff when he was looking for a local club on the internet!!
  10. but they keep telling us that colkour is not important, it should make no difference to anything blah blah blah. and i can honestly say that to those of us who grew up in mixed racial areas and genuinely didnt take any notice of other peoples' race, these kind of things just stir up shit andactually create racism!!

  12. we had an african grey parrot for years to be honest it is very hard work to keep them happy and contented they are destructive and noisy and can be horrible aggresive buggers at times. we gave him to a breeder in the end and although he was a fascinating creature i wouldnt have another, they really need to be in with their own kind
  13. i think its 3 two minute rounds
  14. this herd are living in several hundred acres of national trust-managed woodland, and coming onto the local crops to feed at night, they have the best of everything and carry a lot of fat as a result. but i have to say that those two really were exceptional bucks, and both had very good heads. one of my other herds have nothing like such good conditions, and it would be a very large buck to reach 70kg, most years the best of that herd are mid 60s. these two herds are only a few miles apart! environment is clearly very important!
  15. thanks for your comments chaps. i'm getting quite excited about it, if i was 20 years younger i would fancy a go myself
  16. https://www.ultrawhitecollarboxing.co.uk/ one of the lads at work has signed up for this. he has done quite a bit of MMA in the past and takes his fitness very seriously, but he said he has never trained so hard in his life as what these guys ask of him! i boxed a bit as a kid but am certainly not in any position to give him much guidance, can anyone offer him any hints of what to expect or best approach to take?
  17. some very talented animal trainers about, love how they trained the foxes and badger not to eat the squirrel, apparently they feed them all on tofu so no animals are harmed during the production. why can't everybody just live in peace like the animals?
  18. I have only shot two really prime bucks this season, (been culling out the rubbish mostly) and they were 90kg and 94kg before dressing. What sort of weights are your good bucks coming in at? prickets have been about 45kg in the same herd
  19. why do you think its an advantage ? Because it is......you have to stand there like a plank, getting cold, while your enemy screams, shouts, stretches and get's the adrenalin pumping and surging through the body, which aids them and there decision making for the first 10 mins.... If you disrespect the Haka, they get the dander up and spear you... If you were down the pub of a night, would you stand there like a tool, while some git, jumped around you, eye's bulging, mouthing obscenities....cranking up the pyscholical pressure on you? Would you fcuk...... Pretty much like playing Ireland ove

So once again we see establishment politicians reaping the whirlwind. Continued failure to take any notice of the electorate has led to the only kind of lawful revolution open to the proletariat, which is to take ANY possible alternative. For Trump read Brexit; for Clinton read Blair/Cameron/Corbyn etc. Until they start to remember that they should be representing us, not telling us what to do, politicians will continue to get unpleasant surprises. And in my opinion, they deserve to.
