  1. Cracking bit of kit that but don't think my recoiling springer would like that without some form of foam on the V section. Nice bit of kit and certainly looks the part. Phil
  2. Well played lads, those rabbies certainly made you work for your shooting that night. Keep up the vids guys, would live to see some footage of Darryl using the pro sport to good effect on the vermin. Phil
  3. Hey Elliott, Your only human mate, I to have had that happen, every time I've felt like shit, felt like chucking the rifle in the hedge and taking up a different hobby or sport! It's even made me not shoot at easy targets and just go back to the car and call it a day! Happens to everyone, there are so many variables to air gun shooting even when your on form something can happen out of your control! Take that equation into spring piston shooting where you have recoil to deal with and its no wonder from time to time things can go slightly wrong. Main thing is you got back on the h
  4. Wow that's an awesome price for a rare example! I would snap it up at that price! If I was left handed. Phil
  5. Nice one, nothing more satisfying than collecting your new or tuned air rifle or the thrill of getting a new permission! ATB Phil
  6. Nice post moxy you need to give your follower Mawders more of these accounts! I love your s10 buddy. I loved my mk3 BBK but just wish it had been in .177 instead of .22 which for me was its downfall. That and the fact it was BBK, I lived the mk3 stock but wanted the more traditional barrel and silencer set up. By the way, you lucky bugger, that looks like a lovely little permission. Atb Phil
  7. Yep it's bloody shocking! Timmy next time I come down ill take the pics and write up and try and get it stickied on here for other people to refer to if they ever wanna improve their ps or tx, as I'll bring the tx next!
  8. Couple of things! I wish I could use superdomes, they are probably the cheapest quality pellet out there but so far have not found one rifle that will group with them! Grr! Secondly that is a really impressive bag mate and time and time again I see you posting with high yield bags, cracking shooting as always! Wish my perm was as full as that! Keep up the good posts mate. You lucky fecker! Lol Phil
  9. That's cool, they usually do some little gems every now and again.
  10. Outstanding skills timmy! Ha ha that fly didn't know what hit it! 35 yards and those groups are perfection! You just can't get any better than that. Pro sports for the win! Phil
  11. Hi all, I have a whole unopened tin of rws superfields in 4,51 head size. The tin is still sealed and they were purchased in error. Does anyone have a tin of AA fields in .177 4,52 head size they don't want to swap for these? Long shot I know but they are say here doing nothing. Phil
  12. No! They are not the same. Do what si says and you will see for yourself.
  13. Totally agree fry! Alot less hassle, pocket full of pellets and the rifle and your good to go for the day, your only boundary is how many pellets you took with you ha ha. Si that's really good news, I can't wait to see it in action! Phil
  14. Totally agree si, just got to wait for this rubbish weather to finish! Cheers pianoman and audiguypaul, si's probably the best shooter I've had the pleasure to shoot alongside and what he can do with an air rifle is nothing short of amazing. He really does get you pushing your skills. Roll on the warmer weather! Phil
  15. To be honest darryl I'm well chuffed with that size hole, I don't think I'll ever get it smaller, as long as I can do those groups time and time again I'll be a happy bunny. I'm sure the pcp boys are getting twitchy at the club! It's a very pcp orientated club and still get the feeling others look down on us springer boys! Lol
  16. Archie are you really going to eat them?
  17. Contact air arms mate and tell them it didn't feel right and you stripped it and show them the pic! They need to know how shoddy things are at the assembly plant! That could have caused some damage! Phil
  18. That's flipping shocking but at the same time not if you know what I mean! AA and HW really need to pull their fingers out! Phil
  19. Porky the only thing wrong I can see with your picture is a distinct lack of pro sports! ;-) Phil
  20. Yep! Agree. AA field pellets have never let me down in any air rifle I've owned, annoying as they are the most expensive lol. Just out of curiosity try some rws superfield and falcon accuracy plus. You may be pleasantly surprised. Phil
  21. Ha ha, they are good but so is every other spring rifle if it fits the shooter and his or hers ability. Wouldn't mind going up against the bench rested pcp boys though that would be a different man test altogether! For now I'll practice, practice and practice some more! Not gonna stop till I've used up the earths supply of lead! Ha! Phil
  22. Outstanding! Maybe one day when I win the lottery, hmmmm better start playing it! Phil
  23. Ha ha goz don't inspire just yet I missed a sitter of a rabbit the other day at about 22 yards! Could have kicked myself! He'll come another day that I am sure. Phil
  24. Ideally if its pcp you want it running at about 11.5 with heavy pellets at least then with light pellets it will only be at 11ft/lb. nice and safe then! I'm a springer man so the pellet weights work the other way round, heavy pellets producing lower readings than light pellets. I try and have mine running at 10.5 to 11ft/lb to be on the safe side. That said with springers I think they perform better in the late 9ft/lb to under 11ft/lb region for groupings and accuracy. And lets not forget, mr rabbit isn't going to know any different. So in answer to your question yes, if you
