  1. Wow all of that in such a short amount of time. We'll played there mate. I'm going out at 11 for an afternoon of shooting.
  2. Well played VM mate. Reminds me of all the trouble I had with the pro sports and finally gave up and went back to HW. To be fair the problems you have had you wouldn't expect on a hatstand pcp let alone a day state. Something tells me you will be very happy with your new HW. Fingers crossed for you buddy. Phil
  3. Marmite guns the 95. I had a .22 one stage one tuned from Sandwell Field Sports and to start with I thought it was fantastic but then I started missing more than I was hitting with it and figured the hold sensitivity of it meant it was time to sell. It just didn't fit my build type and was way to light. But others have fantastic results so it's all down to if it fits you.
  4. More to the point zx12 did you get your gun fixed in the end? Nothing worse than a shooter with a broken gun. ;-) Mawders
  5. Thanks for your input zx12. obviously it would be wrong for us to comment as there is always two sides to a story and alot of people around that are happy to invent stories that never happened to put people off going in the shop. I will point out I am not aiming that at you. I cant imagine Tony being like that if I am totally honest as I have NEVER heard him talk like that to anyone whilst I have been there, even people that are stood there testing his steel. Ive always known him to be fair and honest. I'll have to ask him the next time I am up there if he recalls this episode. H
  6. Another happy SFS customer. You really can't go wrong with Sandwell field sports. They are the only place I would get a springer tuned and my blog reflects this through their hard work and dedication to making sure their customers are happy. It's really nice to see other shooters who have taken the time to do their research and then post a glowing report. Well played Tanican for taking the effort to post this. I will add that I have not tried any other tuner so there could very well be better ones out there but from the start before they were massively advertised on Youtube I had my
  7. Essentially both all rifles listed will be just as accurate or at least as accurate as you are. It just comes down to what shot count you desire. The bsa will give you more shots per fill. It will be heavier than the other two rifles I would imagine. Your choice really. If it were me I would go for the R10.
  8. Yep bisley is good for deadening the sound somewhat. Those v much kits a sometimes full of problems. I've read a lot of posts lately of people fitting them kits and getting a lot of spring twang or similar noises.
  9. There are many well respected tuners out there I personally have always had my rifles tuned by Tony and the team at Sandwell Field Sports. I am so happy with the results time and time again he will always get my business. If you find a tuner your happy with then stick with them. There are plenty out there these days and some would say we are spoilt with choice. Most tuners work from home which puts me off as I'm not saying because of this they are not as good. What I am saying is I worry about my rifles to much. Ie will I have come back if the rifle suffers a fault. How easy is it t
  10. The spring buzz or twang will be because of a series of factors. The biggest culprit is that your spring guide doesnt fit the spring properly and there is to much play there. Try taking your spring out and seeing if the guide is a nice tight fit, Also clean off the factory grease and use some bisley gun grease to relube the spring. You could also try polishing the spring ends to see if that helps eliminate any funny sounds. There are numerous things to try. Out of interest what rifle are you talking about with this problem.
  11. Agreed. But it also goes for most manufacturers including Air Arms who I reckon through cut backs have sacked their whole quality control department lol. However to most new people these rifles will be fine and fit for purpose. The more seasoned air gunner or perfectionist will always find a way to improve on what they have purchased. For me I remember how springers were built back in the early 90's and the ones being churned out these days don't compare. For me I will always try and improve a new purchase. In answer to your question though tuning on the whole just means making the rifle
  12. That's cracking shooting right there from the young lad. How old is he?
  13. Hey Timmy it's definitely a date this year. Things got kind of hectic last year at work which meant I missed our outings. Be interesting to see what you think of the panzer. ;-)
  14. Timmy I was secretly wanting you to ask for it as I would have known it would have got the attention and love it requires. Turns out my mate wanted it so it was a seem less sell. It went for less than I wanted it to but needs must.
  15. Hey Timmy, yeah unfortunately I did have to sell the PS in the end. Better to have loved and lost than to have not loved in the first place. :-)
  16. Hey Darkie, this model is one above baseline model and there are are four variants in total. This one set me back £255 from Sandwell Field Sports. Factor in some 30 mm mounts as well though.
  17. Cheers Gaz, I hope this setup ticks my boxes to i'm getting poorer by the minute lol.
  18. Cheers guys. I can't believe how clear the glass is and how fine that ret is. The reostat is a nice function to. Controls the IR function nicely. Can't wait to take her out in the morning and zero her properly. I also can't wait to use the new HW98 from sandwell. Gonna be epic. Lol
  19. Hey chaps, This is my quick video review on a brand new scope released by Hawke this week, There is very little about them on the internet other than Hawkes website so thought I would do a quick video overview. These scopes have been designed in the UK especially for Airgun owners. I managed to buy this one from Sandwell Field Sports who have a short supply of them because they are that new. Most popular websites still have them showing "coming soon". Sorry in advance for my rubbiish film quality and sound but like I said its just a quick overview.
  20. I just sold my panorama for 70 quid as well with free delivery. Hawke are really good for the money but then again my shooting partner has a nikko stirling mountmaster and it's fantastic for 50 quid.
  21. It's a sad day when people have to make things up for publicity. Shot with Si many times and wouldn't think he made this up.
  22. Unless it's clipping the silencer which would cause your shots to be off zero I can't for the life of me see how a silencer would make a rifle less powerful. I think it's all in your head pal.
