    I've read this thread and I can't help but think, that has to be one of the best levels of customer service I've ever seen. Those combros really are value for money if you can return them like that to be fixed. Alot of people I've spoken to say they are wildly inaccurate but I've always been impressed by their accurate readings for a product that doesn't cost the earth!

    Oh yes? Where's that pic of the 25 yard group you shot using sticks for the first time? Nothing wrong with that! Ha ha those sticks are awesome timmy and certainly something I want to make myself, they will be awesome for static hunting on the pigeons! Those groups I shot were ok but I know I can destroy them when it settles and I get down my range into my favourite position! Gave the Pro Sport a good clean last night and the stock, she's like a slippery jelly eel now, ha ha. I did contemplate putting her between the wife and I in bed last night but got worried the mrs would roll over

    I do love it alot, for me and in my humble opinion it IS the best rifle out there! I just need to learn to shoot straight now ;-)

    Nicely done Si! She is something special that 97 but try as I might my heart was with the Pro Sport. Which incidentally after a fettle today will also be something quite spectacular! I'll try and get out and put a couple tins of pellets through her to settle her down now but from what I've seen so far thanks to Timmy she now has a very solid but gentle firing cycle. More to come on that. Phil

    Hopefully I'll make this years event, provided work doesn't get in the way, or the mrs doesn't have a meltdown, the kids don't get in the way or the car doesn't pack in! It might be easier to win the lottery with those odds! Phil

    Now that is awesome shooting guys! The pro sport really is a superbly accurate springer! Your stock looks good mac on yours, never ever sell it!

    Yeah this ones not suffering from the same problems. Havnt really had the chance to really get out with the pro sport. Only a quick trip to the range but she shot some mighty fine groups. Am I a shallow person that I only go for looks and not what's on the inside lol ;-)

    Hope you enjoy it mate! By far the sweetest thing I've ever fired! The rifle just didn't click with me and boy did I try. The pro sport on the other hand always floated my boat till I had a bad rifle. Glad to report this ones working well. The rifles just to my liking and seems to fit me better. Just need to get reacquainted with her now and start hitting the vermin/hft with her! Top bloke Si but everyone already knows that. I'll miss that 97 but the pro sport will soon have me forgetting her! Cheers mate Phil

    It's for that very reason plus I'm sick of all the biased reviews and adverts I stopped buying the comics years ago! The Internet is a much better place to learn new things but the ultimate learning curve comes from just getting out there and doing it for real! Mawders

    Yep, totally agree, that 98 si has is truly something special, there's nothing there when you fire it. Almost dead in its firing cycle. The hw80 with those mods would be a truly awesome combination that's for sure. Phil
