You could knock up some sort of drop system I know you are meant to leave it out for them to get used it but at this time of year bound to be one daft enough to go under. Or run out a bit of rope for a few days with some thing hanging off just to get them semi used to it just a thought. It sounds like a challenge
  3. I remember my beddy whippet was a bit like that but once she got into the groove she was great so I am sure it will be fine. She lost a lot of rabbits to start as well because she had the lightest grip going

  8. I found the biggest advantage of adding a salvaged edge was because you use thicker twine it makes the net hang tidy and drop down nice. It is also for wear and tear purposes apparently. It is very quick to put on and quite enjoyable because your on the home stretch

  14. One thing with technology though I would draw the line at night vision for longnetting that would be a step too far and ruin it for me
  15. I could have done with that one morning on the beach in the fog or a bloody compass
  16. I want mine to heel so if I have done 3 mile so has the dog unless I let him have a romp ideally lol. It is interesting to know the distances though it is surprising how far a mile is some times. When people estimate distances they will often be way out. Nothing wrong with technology to make things interesting and if the dogs benefit all well and good
  17. depending how computer literate you are install kodi on your pc and the genisis plugin and then you can pretty much watch what you like
