  5. i think I remember my vet saying if you don't get the annual booster done on time you have to have the full works again to start a fresh. It was either the vet or the wife that told me lol
  6. Even more responsible would be if he didnt walk a " really funny " dog in the local park ! I never understood why folk with aggressive dogs wanted to mingle with every day dog walkers i always used to find places where i knew other dogs were not going to be,common sense ain't it ? well if your trying to improve your dogs manners you do need to mingle unless its a complete fruit cake obviously. Basically all dogs should be under control not bounding upto strangers in public places
  7. Thanks Allan better prices than the proper netting that costs arm and a leg
  8. 2 metre or 3 metre and it stretches and if needed you can join it up where i get mine http://www.scaffolding-direct.co.uk/debris-netting-monoflex-sheeting/ lasts for years
  9. scaffold netting is better value for money and keeps more stuff out unless you only want a small piece
  10. Any thing would be better than nothing but not a hope I suspect
  11. So are you for putting yours on a lead unlike a lot of silly buggers who let there dogs run all over the shop because there's are harmless but some body else might like being left alone Some silly mare down the beach has a big lurcher she muzzles it and lets it do what it wants. It runs up to little dogs and bowls them over and she shouts out don't worry his harmless his muzzled. Leaving some terrified pug flattened on the sand lol. She knows me I am the fella that gives her some hand signals from afar to keep the daft thing out the way
  12. Dam that looks nice where are you ?
  13. Looks a lovely wood that and that building is just soo clean
  14. My granddad used to go berserk when next doors pea cock visited the veg garden he shot it with the air rifle and all sorts. Caused a lot of neighbourly disputes that one
  15. if your not sure what they are upto when your out just set the laptop or what ever on record. I still do it randomly now just to keep a check. Don't want to annoy the neighbours. Wife was out for 4 hours this afternoon and not a squeak from his crate which is just as well cause his got a voice like a bloody hound
  16. lol run them ragged for starters I would imagine then keep them occupied. Then you go down the road of automated hose pipe sprinklers if outside, citronella collars I saw a post on here one fella had great success and no harm done. Plenty to try
  17. Put a pic on please pal, i would think this one was a one off though. ATB here the thread mate http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/238785-ferret-boxes-made-to-measurenew-type-plasticany-shapedesign/
  18. Not just me then got about 6 boxes and 3 ferrets
  19. Sounds like ignorance more than any thing. A lot of people talk a lot of rubbish and you have to have enough sense to sift out the good from the bad when taking advice. Poor little sod will end up being too scared to sniff any thing in the future and a wreck before it even starts life proper
  20. Yes he knows how to communicate ok collie/grey x bull/grey Matt. His work ethic matches his looks but his far from perfect mostly due to my handling lol. But his mine and keep me on me toes. Wouldn't be with out the plum
  21. Had a nice wander with the dog. Like a summers day today lovely and warm. Makes it easy to tire the silly sod out. This is the a fox and passed through this hedge look then the old he went this way do we have to let it drop then a good old run about before home all done for the day
  22. Yes I can confirm this happens having watched my dog do a kangaroo impression at warp speed heading across the field. Bit like putting a dog in a wait then releasing they/mine tended to zoom off until I made it a mundane experience. Bit like the fella training the deer dogs. He spent a year teaching it a solid wait and stop on the shot. Then when he shot the first deer and the dog stopped he did not release it just waited for ages then the dog slowly released its self and edged in to dead deer calmly where as if he released it the dog would have dashed in. Made perfect sense and let the dog w
