  1. Lovely looking dog. I feel his/your pain lol mine has spent half his life lead bound. It is time well spent mind and the longer you can go the better it seems. He was a few months in here and was yearning to go check out the field I take him ferreting some times on a lead he thoroughly enjoys it his out of action at the mo with a toe Hope yours mends well and gets back at it when his healed
  2. terrible sorry to hear this. Looked a fine dog in great nick so obviously had good life with you
  3. is the dog being neglected though ? Mine can hold his piddle for bloody hours and has a routine and if he does get caught short he goes to the door. In Fact in bad weather I have to lever the sod out the door We have a house but his area is the front room and kitchen
  4. Nice one I do love seeing home made stuff going on. I hope when I am gone my girls remember dads chutney and jams and it motivates them to have a go
  5. fingers crossed for you nigthmare
  6. I don't get all this fuss over meeting long lost family. If you don't know them you can't feel any thing for them. The less family that come out of the closet the better. Most people all ways want some thing. I met my old man for first time when i was about 20. Silly sod was piss ahead and I never bothered with him. He drunk him self to death in the end so I heard. I just stick with my own family wife and kids that is enough for me
  7. lol times flies and I think of all the interest i have lost on that fiver
  8. funny you say that. I had the jr on the parcel shelf once and flew over the brow of a hill in the wet and the police had stopped the traffic to let big lorry out. I slid straight into a mini and the poor jr flew past me and did a garfield. Luckly the copper said he was looking the other way
  9. I hear you lol definitely the way to go now a days enjoy
  10. Really nice bet you could turn that pup to any thing ferreting, sat in a hide or bushing if you were inclined
  11. should use proper wild rats give them some thing to scream about
  12. good going and top stuff. Quite a production line you got there. Them roma are just the job for sauce like that. Was very pleased with them this year
  13. Lol big plans then. Had my first year with a green house this year and was chuffed with cracking year for toms
  14. Nice to see honesty and know that things are not all ways golden for every one. Very reassuring lol. If my dog catches a bolter and I don't get to him quick because I am sorting out the ferrets or what ever. He gets him self worked into a frenzy and I mean a frenzy. He will throw them in the air and shake the hell out of the long dead bunny. You would think he was dealing with some thing that could bite back. On the other hand lamped rabbits mean nothing and he is soft mouthed as hell and just pins them till i get there. I put it down to the lack of day time action so its a big deal. I de
  15. Good luck rob be interesting to know what to try and how you get on so keep us posted. Mine is nearly 4 and not a chance with a possessive streak a mile wide and some sort of over excited frenzy with day time catches. Not so bad on the lamp just holds them till i get there and one night even bought one back when he forgot where i was and walked into me
  16. its a great idea hope other do it too
  17. They sure are mad as pups and it is a great time to enjoy them Once it gets bit older you can start to tire it out mentally with little bits of training and visiting different spots. They soon associate different venues with different actions as I found out. If you visit the samme spots night after night and let the dog go nuts there may come a time when you don't want it too. Then you have to change what you just let it do the last six months. I discouraged mine as he got older from pratting about in the house too. The house is for sleeping and eating and being q
  18. I went to a dog trainer the other weekend. It was a birthday present off my daughters. Not quite sure what they were trying to tell me Any way the fella came around the corner with a stunning mal by his side. Never seen so much confidence and enthusiasm it was all revved up staring at me. Think it thought I was going to be the target of the day lol. Even at 7 years old it didn't look the type for a sedate life in front of the fire. Hope it works out for the dogs involved anyway
  19. here is the link not good at all Shit life being a dog some times https://www.snopes.com/photographs-show-dozens-dead-dogs-kuwait/
  20. It is good they are saved. But I think dogs that have done that sort of work and been through what maybe they have need experienced handlers and luckily these have been found. I saw a picture on another forum some where of a big pile of dogs like them that had been destroyed once the private security firms contract had finished. Not nice at all
  21. Definitely need a new dog Only kidding really nice to see
  22. I enjoy a good book but once you head over the 25 notes it is just too much. Maybe I am stuck on the eighties prices
