Maybe he knew yours was a bayer and preferred the harder type .He wasn't a bayer he did mix spot on as I seen it a few times when we broke through he had a good hold.just a sensible doggo buy yourself a rosette if you think you deserve one.

Machined them from hex bar. But on future ones I make they will be a lot smaller diameter. Went a bit overkill on the heavy duty but will see how it performsmild steel? It won't last if so, better off with high carbon steel, problem is welding it, that's why I asked.

the fells feel cold because of the openness of the landscape, just like any other remote open area of the country. It doesn't matter were you are, if it's cold wet and windy you'll feel it if your stood around.

good point, or a warped exhaust manifold, in which case it may need reskimming on the sealing face. Do you get a strong smell of exhaust fumes?

you won't catch many rabbits compared to a beddy whippet or beddy grey. Dogs for jobs.

engine run away. It will run off it's own oil and blow up. Looks like you need a new turbo, plenty of used ones on the net.

I like the look of the Russell, nice type. Do you think the dogs that don't stay are better suited to the rock work? I know a lad who could call his dog out and sit back, soon after the fox would bolt. Its Not my idea of terrierwork but he had plenty of fox in bad places.
