  1. I take your point Maximus about studies etc and I agree a lot of this natural stuff is being sold to us and we shouldnt just believe anything we are told and believe all the claims, especially by people selling it to us.BUT if you are keeping an open mind to absorb new knowledge which Im sure you are then try googling Margaret Hills clinic and have a look at that. As I said in a previous post I know at least one person cured of arthritis strictly using this diet which was acknowledged by a consultant at the hospital in a letter to his colleague. In other words,he believed in the vinegar.
  2. It is acidic itself but has an acid neutralising effect in your body.
  3. Selling cider vinegar to people who don't need it. They don't produce it for free. Put a core in it will yer
  4. I know at least one person who was cured of arthritis using the Margaret Hills apple cider vinegar diet. This cure was recognised by the hospital specialist in a letter to a fellow specialist. The cure is based on it neutralising acid build up in the joints.
  5. To attempt to feed or exercise or treat dogs at all in the same way is a mistake imo if you want to get there individual best. All dogs are different and that becomes apparent when you keep a few dogs or a pack. The best are the ones who will eat anything and everything as long as the keeper knows how to feed right.
  6. I dont know how much it will aid joints but interestingly when you treat a human for arthritis with acv the patent has to leave out a lot of meat from their diet, especially red meat. I have some fussy dogs and one that is particular about what raw she will eat.She much prefers slow cooked minced beef thats not fatty. She would deffo not eat it with vinegar on it. I wouldnt overdo it with dogs either because it can give indigestion heart burn if you have too much. I would say a teaspoon twice a week.
  7. I feed raw never cook the meat and still manage to loose all sorts in it , biscuit, bonemeal, oils, veg, pasta, rice they nail the lot mixed in through raw meat especially minced chicken carcass binds well with anything. Sounds good mate..
  8. It can cure arthritis,,,helps digestion, immune system etc
  9. Thats the dis advantage of feeding just raw really. If you cook the meat up now and then you can mix with biscuit or pots and veg and loose all sorts in it that the dog wont notice. I put cod liver oil and bone meal and apple vinegar in mine.and even wormers..
  10. That dog sounds like a basket case, but I dont think you are the type or have the experience to handle more than one dog..Why do you go for rescue dogs anyway? If you are the sort who gets emotional about these things I think you should think again about dogs. If you want to get into hunting dont piss about picking other peoples rubbish up,get a pup from good breeding, but first create the right environment where a dog can be a dog,,,NEWSFLASH..They like digging plus chewing as they grow, and are best being reared where that isnt really a problem.
  11. they are a sight for sore eyes mate. Cracking little strain of workers.Keep at it Andy.
  12. Is it me or are there more non chasers about nowadays..Any dog would benefit from using its teeth now and again or even just seeing a rabbit run,but tethering a rabbit live to the lure and running it around the schooling track is a bit much, and lets face it if you make that the norm then no wonder track dogs keep going off form and needing more kills..Problem is too higher grades are expected. You could have a grand game little dog that would run through fire for a rag and never need a kill, but if that dog cant do a stupidly high grading time and is deemed too slow it would never see the track
  13. Im a big fat c**t,but at least I dont spend my time shopping with the ladies and looking at dummies in shop windows....man up for christs sake... It upsets you that your fat, doesn't it. I find pointing a finger at others might make me feel better or convince myself Im a wolf and not a sheep..sound familiar?
  14. It saves spoiling a goodn

  16. Thats why you should breed if you can and keep the good blood close, and not just assume you can get it again by buying in.
  17. Ive seen whippets take foxes. A big heart will fit in any size of dog. But when you have a dog that possesses a punishing bite and hes fit enough after a run to deliver it then matters are sooner brought to an end. One bite from my old dog and a fox was finished if not immediately dead. The foxes own bite after that has nothing in it. Ive heard of these little dogs with the so called knack of killing foxes but frankly having been around a bit Ive come to respect foxes too much to believe it. Different foxes, different days, and a lot of dead foxes have a habit of springing back to life and leggi
  18. It depends whats in fashion and if you say the right thing on here. A couple of years ago there would of been a queue a mile long for this pup but nowadays the bullx isnt the in thing, and as far as I can see thats very good news for bullx dogs, because only the real people keep there interest...and fewer pups land in the wrong hands with people who dont understand and cant handle bullyx dogs.
  19. have you got any other borders,or is that your only one?
  20. Thats a very nice pup mate...did you breed it yourself?
  21. I would give honey first, for a couple of days. It has antiseptic qualities and you might be suprised. Dont be mean with it and dont let the dog drink for a bit until it gets right down. I would try that twice a day. Ive stopped a lot of coughs and irritations with it.
  22. why aint you bollocking him about the price mr katchum? I ain't bollocked anybody iv given my opinion a few times, ain't that what this place is for touchy
  23. Sounds like you just want a bit more robustness in a dog. I dont blame you because its a bloody nuisance trying to work with the sensitive type. On the physical side genrally speaking if you stick to half crosses they will be more durable I think, and stay away from 3/4greyhounds because you will get just as many injuries unless the one you have is a bit careful of itself in which case it wouldnt do much for me personally. I like the reckless do or die attitude. I would keep a good dollop of the right whippet blood though. You would miss the good things you like about whippets I think. As for B
  24. I havnt seen him for a bit,but I heard he got in trouble bungling a hop on a labradoodle..
