    feel if theres any fragments of glass in her paw...if theres is tweezers and pull the fragments, bath in hot water and salt not luke warm you want to drive the bacteria out..heat will do that, the salt will preserve the cut... the dogs tounge will do the rest.

    as working dog men lets try and keep our dogs as close to there natural wild diet as possible... I have seen a few times on threads folks saying lucozade and mars bars to there dogs after a hard day out... dogs don't have sugars in there natural diet and the reaction from aspertain and glucose in lucozade and chocolate in mars both those items will wreck havoc with the dogs enzymes and white blood cells from the pancreas and liver & can kill a dog within 24 hours!

    lol, very swanky.....first thing I would do lee is maybe get rid of that pane of glass and replace it with thick perspecs , if they were play fighting or messing about in there a paw or head could go through that very easy.... if its the same glass you get in like a wee garden shed. As long as your kennels have plenty of shelter and your bedding boxes are draught proof and dry I never use bedding my dogs lye in ply boxes inside kennels and to be honest most the time they just lye in the concrete in there runs.

    So you never read all the post but you got the gist off it all.. no names who i supposedly swapped russells to no surprise there because its lies!... a silly question about why the sow never made it out a cone shaped hole in the minute minute and a half or so of her panicing in which it all happend in... and then sayin a line of snares is a midden which should be baited!     Neil here in the north its called a discussion its only you looking to argue it seems, someone has to tell you how to how to do it competently because it seems by some of your posts you make it up as you go along! like the time You said you set a snare with a half eaten bird as bait? could you explain this theory please? as anyone who has set snares on a regular basis will know you only snare on a pad where the animal frequents and if you have the sufficient fieldcraft skills you will catch your predator...so why the need to use bait? ... all you did like you admitted this time was to feed a f

    MIK I think cubs would be like pups as in if its a small litter like the vixen only has 2 cubs instead of 4 say, , they have the best of milk for a few weeks on tap before she will be away her self mooching... or just to get out of there road for a few hours...then best of her spoils when she comes back... so best of grub and no vying between cubs would grow substantially fatter, better bone structure and quicker coat growth than the average fox cubs that have been struggling.... so may look more maturer than they actually are. best way I always try and tell the age of a terrier, lurcher or

    How'd you know it was a sow ? well a sow has tits and a boar has NOT and since I make my ladder traps 2.4m long 1.6m high 1.2m wide.... when I jumped over the fence she was already 3ft or more up the rabbit wire and fixated on taking a corvid or 2... so I could tell from her under belly that she had sparse hair and nipples that looked to have been suckled on recently.... she also grunted at me in a very ladylike manner when she charged me twice and had bright pink nail polish on her claws....

    On sunday I was away exercising the dogs on a farm, got the dogs gathered up in the van and driving up the farm lane to go home.... farmer drives down the lane and pulls up to chat for a min, he says he has a pile of corvids coming in to his bottom field beside the feed shed.... I said sound ill bring a ladder trap on Monday evening after work.
