just been watching a very good video of a lad doing a bit of ferreting ,had a great set up ,longnets ,good dog ,good ferrets and hi vis clothing! . yes hi vis clothing.we all know bunnies are colour blind yet we buy into the best of camo .a very old friend of mine (82) always said that fishing tackle shops were great for catching fishermen not fish!.very true.oh by the way this guy bagged plenty of rabbits.

took the longnet out last week.had been hanging up in the shed just inside the opened door.halfway through putting it out i came upon a birds nest containing two eggs.turned out to be a robins nest.i was gutted .apart from the goldfinch the robin is my favourite garden visitor.

I'm all for been super quiet when setting up ,but yes this year ive found theyd rather die below than bolt.yet theres another mate of mine and his buddies shoot to his ferreting .now you cant get more frightening than that !

I put a dilution of iodine on a really badly cut pad and kept her kennel floor spotless. Took a while to heal.walking on The lead only for weeks

Don't know if it was my bad luck but I had loads of trouble with mine.weak wiring and overheating. I gave up in the end. Not for me.

All you can do is keep a good clean run.i let mine out through the morning dew grass too as it gives them a good cleaning.make sure you have load's of fresh shavings in aswell

Have a Jill EU here.i was very keen to have one so I spent a good few pound and travelled a good few miles to get her.if I ever tame her I think I'll join the circus as a lion tamer.shes skittish and nippy,drawing blood!so No I won't be working her and I won't be turning my young lads off by getting nailed every time they go to lift her.reasonable offers apply!lol.itd back to what I know best , good working ferret to good working ferret ,no problems.i tried it.fail!

Wiring on most aren't really built for a night out in the wilds.dloyd of here is selling great cordless lamps.I got myself one over here and I cannot fault this lamp at all.cheap as chips too.

From what I've read,if you go to insure your dog as a working lurcher Your screwed.now an insured mongrel that just happened to slip his lead and got injured or caused damage accidentally,then maybe you have some cover.
