  2. I've a small bag of jay blue wing covert feathers here if anyone wants them for fly tying. Drop me your address if you want them. These have now GONE
  3. Don't know where your pain is mate but I've had sore shoulders and lower back for a while now. I slept in another bed while visiting a family member recently and the difference in the morning was incredible. The mattress I slept on was a firm one. Went out and bought one this week and hey ho, the aches have gone.
  4. Air gun ant, Craggers means foxes caught on the fells by hounds, pre '35. There well may be dated masks of shot ones on the walls of some hostelry, but ideally, farmers and hunters of the fell packs would rather have a mask from a fox caught by hounds adorning their homes and yes, relating to the greyhound type
  5. CC, she was around yesterday?
  6. Driving round my patch this morning and I passed John Craven, who's filming today for Countryfile. Does anyone want me to pass on any messages to him?
  7. I hate this weather, especially during the school hols. I work in the countryside and it's heaving with the once a year walkers, dogs off leads shitting all over, kids dropping litter, then in the evening the druggies come out, lighting moor fires, drinking and generally causing vandalism. Hurry up the rain!
  8. They are all lying b*****ds and only after the power that comes with the job, if you can call it that. Personally, seeing as they're as bad as each other tax, NHS, immigration wise, I start to look at what party is supporting what I do in life, which is hunt, shoot and spend time in the countryside, and it's the Tories. It really has come down to that, the rest of the time they f**k me and my family over a barrel!
  9. It looks ok to me. Police approved, secure locking system and return edged door
  10. Knew Gary but not that well, just an hello now and then. Produced some good terriers and was a nice bloke
  11. The out of sight bit is my opinion. Best not to encourage prying eyes
  12. Yes, as long as it's secure and out of sight. It's becoming a problem, especially in modern houses, to find suitable places with a solid wall.
  13. I agree with the above. The volunteers are brainwashed into putting out bad propaganda against hunters/ keepers. Some of them are fanatical
  14. He wouldn't have got his firearms then!
  15. Co-term will be £90 for a grant and £65 for renewal
  16. The powers that be probably knew something like this would happen, but we're reluctant to warn us. The whole world would of come to a standstill if they had.
  17. AGA I'm not too far from you if you need a lift in the future
  18. I've asked that question SW. If he's near to me I'll sort for him if he likes.
  19. North west area, Manchester/Cheshire
  20. Whereabouts are you? If you're not far from me I'll sort it for you with the rimmy. Had a call from a guy last week asking me to shift one that was starting to cause trouble
  21. If you were nearer I'd take it off your hands
  22. Don't forget Whiteside Stiffy, ha ha
