I’m surprised that the BBC took the word of an activist group. This group carry out vandalism on keepers traps and those used legally in the badger cull. It was something and nothing, a badger kicking after being shot for a few seconds. Just sensationalism by the biased BBC

I had mine checked years ago after a day out with hounds. A guy I was with pointed out Charlie running on the fell, but I couldn’t see him for toffee! That made me go to get my eyes checked. I wear glasses for distance viewing now and driving

Thank you. I’m good friends with the keeper and some of the farmers, plus I work on the other side of the moor, it’s where I go every morning. Love it up there. The guys are getting on top of it but it’ll take weeks, the peat is burning underneath. I can see it from home and it’s still smouldering Back up tomorrow for a few hours ?

I’m heavily involved with the fire at Saddleworth, been in the moor most days helping with fire fighting. Back on tomorrow
