  1. Lost my brother and sister a few years ago and my ma and pa three years ago within a few days of each other. Still struggle with it. One minute they’re here....dad was so poorly he couldn’t even attend mums funeral after 66 married
  2. Cheapish round but they do the job. I’m not into ballistics and loads etc. I just point and shoot ?
  3. Sellier and Bellot 45g. Used to use home loads but the guy who did them for me unfortunately isn’t with us anymore
  4. Popped out to two local farms tonight looking to sort out a couple of Charlies that have been pestering the owners and in my haste I forgot to attach the mod to the Hornet. I couldn’t be arsed to go back for it and arrived at the first spot not too hopeful. Long story short, boom! First one down at 75 yds after just a minute. A vixen with a lovely brush on her. Onto spot number 2. Once again, a very short visit. Flicked the lamp on, spotted the fox. Gun mounted, scope torch on, a squeak to get his attention, boom! Dog fox down. Home for 9, job done ??
  5. I’ve come off there socks and my life is better for it. Saw a video of someone standing on a puppy and that did it for me. I don’t want to have that in my life thanks
  6. Pudding’s been drowned in the gravy, shame
  7. Haven’t the government responded to their petition already and told them nothing’s changing? These on line petitions aren’t worth a wank, people can sign them time and time again
  8. Has it feck, probably more determined than ever to leave. You’ve been watching and listening to all the shite on tv and on social media.

  11. There are reservoirs behind this one in the goyt valley which do belong to the local water company. I think this one is used to send water to the canal and was for bygone industries ?? I’m only a few miles from it so know the area quite well
  12. It doesn’t belong to the local water company, it’s the canal trust ??
  13. I work on reservoirs and although I’m not “an expert” I consider myself as having more knowledge than most on the subject. There are plenty of people in the country with excellent engineering backgrounds into dam failures and the implications of failure should it happen. The authorities are only trying to protect people. If they hadn’t withdrawn families and it went tits up, people would be screaming murder. Most people don’t know or understand the law and how much work goes into making sure the reservoirs and dams are kept in good, safe condition. They just visit them and assume nothing goe

    Isle of Mull

Didn’t go there but I was in the Highlands last week and had a great week. Wonderful place if you like walking, hunting and nature. Weather spot on and roads were quiet ?? That place looks lovely. Might try there next year ??
  15. Nope, not me. I’m only a few miles from there, normally climb up from the Hayfield side. Or catch the train in and walk home from edale. I was that way a week on Sunday. ??
  16. Having a week up in the Highlands this week with my wife. Glorious weather so far ?? Managed a visit to Fort George and the battlefields of Culloden. Great day out, sunny and hot. Worth the visit is Fort George. Culloden is interesting but if you done get roped into paying to see a small exhibition, £11 each, it’s free ??

Yep, making him look like he won the argument without even turning up. He’ll use it now at every opportunity to make those that banned him look fools and feel guilty. He’s just a shti stirrer
