Does anyone have oxfams number I just got my water bill through and heard on the tv that oxfam can supply afamily with water for 2 pound a month im swapping suppliers
here is my bros pups that we have just started, they both had there first kill and first night on the lamp at 13 months old, both doing extremely well so far..
the dog on the right is the pup called Reggie..
the bitch on the right is the pup called Sox
brilliant night, can't knock the dogs! they must have ran well in them conditions
i know what you mean by warm..last time i went with Tomo it was easily warm enough to wear a tshirt lamping.. i prefer blowing a gale on a dark drizzly night haha
my brother has just brought 2 pups up one is now 15 month old and the other is nearly 14 month old... he just walked and fed them as normal and didn't do anything with them apart from break them in with cattle and sheep and get them jumping.. they wouldn't chase a ball or a dummy so didn't bother trying to learn them to retrieve...at about 12 month old he showed them there first rabbits in the day and letting them get there instinct on chasing rabbits.. and at 13 month old when he thought the bitch was ready so he took her lamping and she done brilliant, jumped great, retrieved straight to han
Im new to the sport and i was just wondering why ?
because all the game in the summer months is carrying young or is young itself...just a waste and you would be killing your sport come the winter fella
i know why u asked, Swift is that grey you would think she was 10 not 2
no it wasnt that i thought maybe they may of had same sire like don, how tall do they stand, about 23"?
they do have same sire as the Don Dog, and i haven't measured Swift since she was a pup but i would say she was 25/26 inch
we seen a fox last night, but thats only one ive seen in a handful of times ive been down.. im sure Tomo could answer the question in a bit more detail
so what would you run for "big bag" nights?
got two dogs mate Don & Swift, both decent dogs on different kinda ground... flat green fields (paddocks, golf courses, big open land) i would take swift everyday of the week, on side of a moor or fellsides were its rough terrain like were i was lamping on sunday night then take the Don Dog every night of the week.. im not saying they couldnt catch on either ground but i would use them to there advantages!
horses for courses mate
i would say it depended on what kinda land you ran on & surely if you were going for decent scores on rabbits you would need combinations of stamina, speed, agility, good feet, determination, strike etc etc...
