chasing 1-2 rabbits isn't a test, but surely when you run that many like Jim has on that kinda land then imo it does become a test for the dog

thanks again Tomo, great night i loved it!! Shame about the fog but it don't really matter we still got a great score! Got my personal best of 74 in a night so i was very happy, Don ran a blinder only missed 3-4 rabbits all night..

he would kill on any land mate on the lamp, after we lamped the high ground we ran on the big open fields and the rabbits were like leverets but he was still catching...

i have given most away to greyhound lads or too a lad who has some pups.. I was left with 20 odd though so had to skin them

Missed a few tbh, and thinking back some seemed as if they were easy, we had them jumping walls or when the dog was running them they were running straight into setts aswell. the field we got 19 in, the dogs only missed 1 each.. We could video it but you would need an extra man and another lamp and some decent video equipment to record it

When we got cracking to them last night they said they had 4 vans out purposely looking for poachers or folk pinching diesel from farms!

Was on permission about 50 mile away last night, but got pulled on the way to permission the other night in the petrol station... they seemed decent enough but they were looking through our gear and looking for scars on the dogs face!

been pulled by the police the last two nights, luckily had written permission on me. But yest they drove into the farmyard were we had parked and checked the car..

cheers fella, were we lamped the other night speed wasn't essential at all because of the steep hills. Bit more guts and determination though when the rabbit runs over the edge and the dog trusts me to just follow...

We just got 8, Reggie ran great Tomo he caught an extra one but as he was retrieving it a group of horses spooked him so he let it go, & he got a shock from an electric fence, so it all happened for him in a couple hours.
