I've got both, synthentic 75 in 6.5x55 and a half stock Mannlicher in .270. The Mannlicher is a much "nicer" rifle, lighter and better looking, but unless I'm shooting Reds I take the Sako every time. The Sako is a great bit of kit (a bit heavy with a scope and bipod), but shoots really well and needs almost no looking after even when it's been pouring down all day. HTH
