As an avid rugby league fan/ex player it has always boiled my piss how much even mediocre footballers get paid in comparison to rugby players. I know a lot of it is down to supporter numbers etc. but chris samba earning more in a week than wigan warriors or warrington wolves players earn in a year is criminal in my eyes.

I eat them regularly mate . just make sure you remove the small sack of liquid that is in the slit on the back of the liver before you eat them. They have a more crumbly texture than pigs or ox liver.

To be fair to you mate it sounds like youve given it some time and effort. Its hard to describe how bad some ferrets are no matter what you try. I had two sibling jills given to me about three years ago, one was a bit nippy at first but settled down but the other one was like a banshee. I leave my dogs free when im ferreting but if this fcuker was in the set it used to fly out of the holes and try and latch onto the dogs. I eventually stopped it biting after about 8 months of pain for anyone or anything near enough to it by using the PANGGGG method . Thats the noise the shovel makes when you

I cant really see how its worth the effort or the money. Its only going to save about 25 minutes on the journey anyway. The planned route takes it within half a mile of my house and allotment[ back in barnsley] which wont really affect me [its underground in this part] but its going to cause a lot of heartache for a lot of people. I dont think i will live to see it finished anyway .

Unfortunately kev there are too many people about who are only too willing to rob a working bloke. All too often its the ones who can easily afford to pay who know how to get away without doing so. Been had a couple of times myself whilst self employed.

I cant imagine how many times i have embaressed my daughter over the years, usually after a few sherbets at the rugby club. She started sitting at the other side of the club to disassociate herself from me on saturday nights. I used to answer her phone if a lads name came up on the screen and say allsorts of stuff. I knew when i had gone too far because the wife used to call me by my full name with that headmistress tone in her voice.

Would like to thank dytkos for asking me on this trip, and also the guy whose stag do it was for letting a total stranger tag along on his do.It was a really good day out. was made to feel welcome by everyone, and caught plenty of fish. All those allegedly undersize mackerel make cracking bass baits frontbum. also use the whiting to make fishcakes yum yum. I would definately be up for a trip kev if you can arrange one.

Yes me too mate. Had black bream and couchs bream fishing out of padstow but they only really get them in one area and they dont fish it very often.

Cheers Bry, it was all lovely mate, and your right ling Is really nice... Loads died a few years back around here I think it was something to do with the oxygen in the water??? I was told hundreds were just floating in the surface dead.. It was nice to see a few about, Plus the bream with a few over 4lb, was nice to see... The biggest problem was the pout, we filled a box for the crab pots, if does your head in when you've got to wind up 2 pout from 200ft... Yes it does mate. Thing is you know its only a pout before you start winding . My dogs love it so i fetch a few home for them. its
