I am trying to repair a Victorian cradle for a friend of a friend. This has net sides which I have made OK but can't figure out a neat way to knit the two ends together.The cradle is an oblong shaped frame with holes in which the top mesh slots through and then has a cord threaded through it . would appreciate any suggestions or advice on how to do it. For want of a better description its like stitching together two ends of a long net.

The problem is mate as paulus says it needs a price on it . Thems the rules. It also makes it a lot simpler if the seller tells you what he wants.

Well the mrs has been away working on the scilly isles since monday so i have been able to live like a typical bloke all week. No hoovering, wash the pots when the sinks too full to hold anymore or you run out of plates ,whichever comes first etc.All change today , picking her up at 6, so its time for the freddie mercury impression, apron on, hoover out, polish at the ready, singing i want to break free as i go.

Youre right there kev. I can picture my first lad with his chubby cheeks and shirley temple hair. Hes 30 years old now.Im the same as your dad mate i turn into a right idiot when i get near any of the grandkids.Ijust love having them.

A guy i used to work with used to train an under nines team at a local club but packed it in because of the parents. If he subbed their little superstar to let someone else have a bit of game time they went ballistic. Some even threatened him if their kid wasnt in the starting eleven.None of these clowns were willing to step up to the plate and train the kids but were only too happy to slag someone who did. -

Ive had them today and to be honest i havent laughed as much in years .The eleven month old is as funny as f**k. Not sure if her mother approves of some of the things im learning her at the moment.

To be honest mate i cant see why people rave about it.Gilthead bream are a far better fish to catch and nicer to eat. Give me a few mackerel instead of a bass anytime.

I have recently started looking after my granddaughter as my daughter has gone back to work. I have to get up at 4-45 drive 40 miles then have the kids from 6-45am till about 5-30pm. Thank god i only have to do this a maximum of 3 days week. I look and feel like wylie coyote getting up off the canyon floor when ive had them. I had four of my own so maybe im just getting old.

yes ive just gutted them, put 3 layers of cling film on them and put them in carrier bags. Hopefully they will keep ok like that.

They sell their own kids mate so they wont be shy about taking and or selling someone elses. In their eyes its legal for 30 year old blokes to marry 14 year old girls.

May seem a dumb question but here goes. Has anybody frozen them whole instead of filleted. If so do they keep ok.Reason i ask is i usually fillet them and get a friend to vac pack them for me. Iwant to keep these whole so i can cook them whole. cant vac pack em there too big for his packer.
