The pasties were from a few miles from me in Devon, the scrumpy was from Somerset.......but...... I bloody love Cornwall... The north coast especially... We were at friends for roast in a small place called Port Wrinkle last Sunday, they live 2 doors down from the village pub and 2 minutes walk from the beach, don't get much better..... I give the contact in the middle of the collar a clean up with a screwdriver tip or a bit of sandpaper and then solder a blob of solder onto the top of the contact to raise it up.

I know mate my ms has to deal with it on a daily basis in her job and she gets paid less than some of the councillors who only attend the minimum amount meetings required to claim their money. Some of them do a good job for their parish and put a lot of hours in but others just take the piss and collect their money.

Council employees pay into their own pensions mate. Council has to pay employers contribution same as any other employer but this is not taken out of your council tax. Some Civil servants have a non contributory pension but not local government employees. The council exists as a service paid for from 100% tax payer contributions. If the money doesn't come from council tax contributions then where does it come from? The employers contribution comes central government funding allocations . This will obviously come from some form of tax levied by the government but not from council tax. Counc

I only have one rule really for my daughters now husband , if he messes her about then its up to her to sort it out but if he knocks her about then its up to me to sort it out . You can end up as the bad guy in every bodies eyes including your daughters if you stick your nose in too much.

I have a foldable spade but I only take this out when I'm going somewhere I don't want to be seen carrying a proper spade. Its OK but I wouldn't really recommend them for a days serious ferreting.

I had a shoulder reconstruction done about seven years ago . Ten weeks in a sling and three months physio. It was my right shoulder and I'm right handed but I still managed to go fishing in a fashion and do most other things reasonable well. Only thing I never really got the hang of was wanking lol.

That would be sound keV,thanks. Could travel in mine if its easier.Got a transit van so plenty of room for gear.depends how many people. If trip is on 20th I will have to do an early runner before the wife notices I've gone as its my wedding anniversary.

I will make one this year . will be fishing, prefer rivers but not bothered if it ends up on a lake. got spare tackle as well if anybody needs to borrow any.
