if they have middle toe off are they ok then,? does it affect them when they get older . just wondered thats all . Bryn got few knocked up toes but runs ok , prob done not to bad in 7 years. don't know mate, you no when alan (pav) of here took you to see that bone man. that's what he told me when I took mine a few weeks ago, and hes a very well respected dog man. im just going off what he said. he certainly knows his shit. probably the best around.

thanks for your help. its bloody nice gun a little heavier than i thought after using my bsa, however i much prefer the hw100 all ready. the trigger on the gun is very nice to use, its alot quieter and so much better to use once i have got use to the gun i know i wont be disappointed.

ive found those pellets do tend to drift off from time to time so i will try some others in the future. another question should the gun have hw 100kt writen on it any where as there are alot of similiar looking models. the gun is brand fire new its got hw100kt on the receipt and on the box but its not written on the gun hes give me. the stock is both left and right handed aswell. its the thumb hole stock came with 2 14 shot mags 3 different adaptors and had a 190bar in it. just been out and head shot 2 lovely rabbits missed a pigeon aimed on the crop and the pellet didnt go any where

ive just got back from shopping trip. ive got a kt100 in .177 i asked the chap in the shop to give me a decent scope and the ideal pellets for the gun. hes given a hawke hd ir m'dot 4-12 X 50 scope along with h&n field target trophy pellets. does this seem like a decent enough set up for the gun? i am buzzing and will be going out a.s.a.p for a practice.

i have got a bsa hornet 22 air riffle at the moement and its my first pre charged gun i have owned. ive also got a hw77k 177 which i have had for 20years. the bsa has got me wanting to do some serious airgun shooting i have been looking at the hw100kt and was wondering which would be the best calibre in that model if i was to get one? and also would i notice much difference in performance to my bsa hornet? are they worth spending the money on?

i use dog leads over my shoulder as a strap mate. i always gut the rabbits as i am going along and hang them on the lead. i measered a old strap that i had and got strong stuff to make some leads to suit. been carrying rabbits on them for a few seasons now with no problems. ive tried rucksacks but ive found they just make life awkward when looking to get through gaps in the hedge or over some fences.

decided to take a hour or so trip out with my air riffle today for the first time this year. its my first pcp gun and i have just got it back after sending it to be turned up so it shoots a little different than i had got use to. i brought it in july last year and have had a few sucsessful outings with it so all in all i was farely pleased, although its been performing well i just new it wasnt upto scratch. anyway i had it chrono tested and found that it was only kicking out 8ft lbs. it arrived back to me a couple of days ago shooting at 11.6ft lbs and i must say ive noticed the differ

i use a 14amp lithium with a lightforce lamp and a 30watt osram bulb had bags of 40+ rabbits regular, a 50 and a partridge, and a 71, never run flat on me yet.

i use a decent steel but every once in a while a blade does need a touch up with a decent sharpening stone.

i use no9s and reckon they are decent knives for the money. the handle does swell when wet and can cause temp problems with opening. ive got a berreta knife i paid £75 for which i dont take out incase i lose it. ive put it up some where safe in the house and have lost the fecking thing anyway.

a good test for a dog preban the fallow regular.

birds pretty much summed it up i reckon. anything the dog does other than rabbits just class as a bonus. one of the best runs i ever seen was a 17 and 19 inch whippet on a good strong winter hare. the run seemed to go on for ever. it was at the point the hare deserved to live but on the other hand those two little whippets had more than earnt the right to catch it. in the end the hare lost but what a fecking run.
