  3. funny you should say that Tomo i know someone whos had some decent dogs in there lifetime but the best dog they had was also adult dog they new feck all about. by all accounts it took some getting started but there was no looking back once it did.
  4. smart looking bitch jim. you say you aint getting any younger but i am sure youve a few dogs left in you yet. its nice to have a adult dog to run on but you cant beat bringing on a pup. good luck what ever you decide.
  5. some vets can look down the throat with a camera mate. it might by worth looking down that road if the symptoms continue. might be a tad expensive though, it sounds like it could be a process of ilimination.
  6. i shoot with both eyes open but i am right handed and my right eye is dominate (master). my friend is right handed and shot right handed because his right eye was dominate, he then had a bike accident and for some reason his left eye became dominate and he reckons he had to learn to shoot left handed as he couldnt shoot right handed once his eyesight changed. you might be o.k as your left eye has always been your master eye by the sound of it. i learnt to shoot with a left handed outo although i am right handed. didnt know it was a left handed gun until months after, i just got on with

  13. a lick of creasote job done
  14. feck the vaccination programe that again will cost the goverment alot of time and money. the easyiest sollution would be to legalize the cull of badgers for a few years and just the lads who love doing the job get on with it. that option in my eyes would be a very effective and cheap option.
  15. weasle has allready pointed out birds will take them. crows especially they are always scavageing.
  16. just after a few pointers for keeping my air riffle clean and looking in good condition. i always used normal furniture polish on my old hw77 since i was a kid as i was told to never use WD40. although ive only had my air riffle about 3 weeks theres alot of dust about and it appears to be building up in the slot where the magazine goes, the cocking mechinisum is also looking as though it will hold alot of dust if not cleaned regular. is there a cleaning kit i can get? almost forgot she's a hw100kt.
  17. i know pups go back for a secound shot mate. but never known a adult dog whos upto date with all his jabs needing to go for a secound shot with his booster.
  18. i took the dog to the vets friday for his annual booster, and free health check lol. once the vet had given my dog his booster she then informs me that i have to go back in four weeks for a secound jab. (by now i am thinking yeah right how much is that going to fecking cost?) anyway she informs me that there is no extra charge for the jab but due to new strains of leptospyrosis in the area the jab is a must. its a new one on me. has anybody else herd of the extra jab needed to be done? hes 3 years old and upto date with his jabs.
  19. its good to see the youngsters following in our footsteps. bet he was buzzing. i was with a young lad when he shot his first fallow he was that excited when telling his grandfather on the phone he forgot my name lol and hes known me 4 years.
