I have a pair of Chinese painted quail in my aviary and the hen bird has decided to go broody and is sitting tight on four eggs. Really chuffed with her any one else had any luck with them going broody.

I go to the isle of white regular for short breaks with the familly and I must say the hunting over were the needles are looks really good got bundles of stuff out there, and looks like it don't get touched to often. But yeah the ferrys are a real problem a bit touch and go always breaking down. -
They are very worried as they know other countries want to follow suit, so they want to try and make a example out of the uk. Way I look at it I wouldn't change my vote for out at all, and if the shit does really hit the fan least I got my dogs and ferrets to put food on my table. Iv bred some mules 1st time this year and for me it was a goldfinch cock with canary hen very easy, the young are just showing there adult colours now.

Very nice, I always wanted to try grouse and had my chance a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately being the other end of the country plus not knowing many millionaires who were shooting grouse this season lol, I had to order mine from a game supplier cost a bloody bomb, but well worth it. VHD makes mixy look like a pussy cat one of two of my permissions about 500acres , were I used to ferret. Was alive with rabbit this horrible disease just wiped them out with in a week or so.And seven years later still no real recovery just a lot of empty warrens, all we can do is hope that one day that nature sorts it self out and they bounce back.

This virus has gone through a lot of places I used to ferret regularly, like a hot knife through butter.It is absolute devastation it takes years for the rabbits to recover, all my old haunts of were I have ferreted as a boy for good bags of rabbits have totally disappeared thanks to that virus. Arry if you have got this on your permission mate I feel sorry for you mate, as it will take years for them to recover.

Yeah I'm must admit you certainly know you got them, I remember when I had a litter a few years ago now. There teeth just started to come through, I found a fresh road kill rabbit took it home chucked it in with them, with in twelve hours I reckon all which was left was a bit of fur and it's tail they are ravenous ha ha All the best with your new arrivals hope you find good homes for them.
