  5. I think there all to busy with there free gear ferreting than to report on the HTL lol
  6. I think this would do the working ferrets a lot of good to open up the gene pool of good working animals around the country to each other. But in my oppion me included, most of us ferreters are a secretive bunch and have to be what with story's especially on here of ferrets going missing here there and every where. Generations of good working stock gone in how ever long it takes to empty a hutch which people have dedicated there lives to. But the concept is a great idea.

  11. This has been my reply from my mp Damien hinds If some can tell me exactly what he means in lay men's terms I would appreciate it very Thank you for contacting me about the hunting act. Many people have strongly held views about hunting, for understandable reasons , I have corresponded on this issue many times over the last five years. Mt opinion has not changed substantially. Although I do not myself hunt, I recognise the important role of hunting in community life, among other benefits. People that hunt may be in a liberal democracy, being in a minority doesn't mean you are wrong
  12. I have a 3/4 deer hound cross greyhound who is I think doxhope breed she is 18 month old and has seen absolutely nothing work wise, I have just given her time to be a pup and let her bones slowly mature. She is the 1st I have ever owned of this breed, and all I can say so far she has been a delight to look after very kind natured animal.

  14. Just received my new ferreting waist coat, thank you heritage for passing my details on to Torchie. What a handy well made piece of kit, you can just tell this is a real handy piece of kit which is well thought out by some who ferrets all the time, just by the way the net bags on the waist coat are set back a bit, hard to explain but say if you were netting up a steep bank or rough uneven terrain like i do. The net bags the way they are set up will come level and forward , making it easy to put your nets in and out.No more piles of nets every were straight in straight out when needed or ev

  20. people who practice snapping teeth bollocks shouldn't practice/try ferreting in the beginning in my opinion to lazy to dig that's why they do it or invest in a locater and most probably to lazy to lay a net. They clearly shouldn't own ferrets.
