    Over the moon as after a bit of worry with the cock bird, a month or so back. The hen has now started to sit tight on four eggs for the last week or so, this is my 1st ever pair of these and are such tame little birds, great addition to my aviary. Does any one else on the THL keep these who could pass on some sound advice about them. All the best David jones

    This has become so popular lately that Were priceing this stuff up almost weekly on jobs some ware in a project. £60 pound sqm is a good price for the customer, as we charge this out at 120 sqm upwards to clients supplied and fit. One customer bought some Indian sand stone off ebay thinking they had bought a bargain, £13 sqm it turned out to be a load of old sh## as it wasn't calibrated and looked like it had frost damage. He wasn't happy when we said we were not laying it, and sent him down the local builders merchants to buy more.

    We've got some great bin men, they take everything even bags I leave beside the wheeled bin, wave to my kids polite and always put the bins away Just a great bunch of lads and I reckon the secret to this is a twenty pound note at Christmas it does the world of good through out the year.

    That was a absolute belter of a fight, nick Blackwell is a true warrior who can really take a upper cut, even though eubank won it for true gusto and passion nick Blackwell is a true champion last night putting on a show like that I hope he makes a full recovery

    Not been aggressive with me, but cleaning my stinkers out tonight and two of my boys started proper scrapping with each other, time for summer time separation me thinks spring is defiantly in the air.

    They are in a big aviary with a few canaries and a few other finches, and are munching on Johnson and Jeff canary seed as well as the Johnson and Jeff finch option from the other feeder. There is hempseed in the canary feed I give them Then soaking seed every other day, but they are always whiz zing about so I thought that they would be burning off any excess fat.

    Thanks fireman much appreciated for the advise mate, that is my big worry about catching up and taking to a vet. The mrs has been on the case tonight with her vet as she's just paid a shed load of money to her vet to have laser treatment on her horse to remove sarcoids from it so I'm hoping even though she's a equine vet she might be able to do me a favour and prescribe me some really appreciate your advise fireman I'm on the case now.

    Relatively new to these little birds, and I think my cock bird has got the gapes. He looks very healthy in him self strong flying about in his aviary having a wonderful time chirping away and so forth. But when he sits on one of his perches for a while he starts gasping.He's a 2015 bird so only baby I have read a article saying that intradine is good for them, in there drinking water, I have tried ordering it but apparently I need a prescription for it any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm really worried about him and don't want to loose him if I can help it.     Never met fireman but you do get a sense that he is a top lad, always happy to help people out with his knowledgable replies to people's questions with good answers. One top man I reckon all the best fireman.

    Tuffty that's a great shame mate I would be gutted if that happened to any one of mine. That's were me and my mrs are different as she has a couple of cats, I barely can put up with them mate. But she had them before me and her met, about ten years ago. But I know it's wicked but I just keep having thoughts about me taking them for along drive whilst she's at work if any thing happens to the birds. The only down side I can see, will be me and the kids putting out the lost posters in vain. Shouldn't have these type of thoughts ha ha

    That's what it's all about getting the children involved, I think there's nothing better if you can doing this or taking them ferreting anything to get the spark with in them ignited great fun. The last picture just makes me even field cold ha ha

    Do love the bullfinches 1st year in keeping them it's a hobby me and my Misses share just can't Believe how friendly they have become over a short space of time in keeping

    Yeah they look foreign, but some poor english fool will get sucked in to believing, that's what the fella & his son with the gun down the road do coz they hunt. (What ever) Those antis know exactly how to get to people they are a dab hand at it, specially now resorting to foreign photos. If there not foreign I will eat the middle ones foreign hat ha ha

    Fireman I Looked at that palmers web site that even looks dodgy no pics of the birds there selling, just there word there great, leave your number were contact you, don't just turn up on off chance were in ( fare enough) But the funniest part for me was they reckon they got the best birds in the country, there the only ones judging that coz there isn't no pictures just again there word they have ha ha But you know what they say let eyes be the judge and your money the last thing you part with.
