Could have been an escaped imprinted owl wanting fed? Many years ago a famous wild life photographer called Eric Hoskings had an eye taken out by an angry wild tawny owl that he had just photographed. Most birds of prey have gripping power that is out of proportion to their weight, so a 3 lbs goshawk or Redtail can, in some circumstances take a 9 or 10 lbs hare. One day while we were hawking rabbits my pals 2 lbs 4 oz female Harris caught and held a massive doe hare that got up between burrows. Talk about Jack the giant killer!

Respond only to paypal and give your side of the story. I recently made a purchase which was not delivered so I raised a dispute with paypal...sending them copies of emails that I had sent requesting clarification etc., which resulted in a full refund. Good luck.

I dont bother the ginger fellows any more....unless one rises under my hawk.....but if I was still at it I'd be proud as a peacock to own a dog as good as either Lucas or Bulldozer. And thats just based on the opinion of top coursing men who HAVE seen them run....I haven't! If you haven't run a dog on the various different surfaces, and conditions that change by the hour on the fens then any statements made are pure speculation and of little value, imho.

This was a daughter of Pharoah that K gifted to me just before the ban, gentleman that he is......out of his Magic bitch (Charlie x Alwins Diesel). could kill anywhere, fen, wold on stoney ground or paddocks in Ireland.

K.T.'s Amazing Pharoah was Khans brother and a real one by all accounts. He was killed on the road not long before I met K but J.L. told me he was probably the best saluki dog in the country at the time and was a 5 out of 5 in January dog. High praise indeed from a man whose own famous pure saluki Star, had killed 7 in one day on the fens. No wonder Khan became a popular stud when Pharoah was no longer available.

Yes that bitch in my avitar was by Deacon out of a Whisper Wishes greyhound bitch. Killed loads of hares in Ireland early 90's edited to add the "yes" was to the question "was Deacon a pure?", not "is Red still alive?"

I've been using this type of box for a while now and wouldn't switch. They're light weight, easily cleaned and don't grow mould. Airy and baffled from excess light.Worth every penny of the extra price over a lifetimes use imho.

Sounds promising Woz, a pal of mine has been interested in just such a cross for several years now. Sean has just bought a house with a large garden and he said when he had the room he would seriously consider one if he could source one bred the right way. Do keep us informed please.

My neighbour has 5 kids under 10 and they can all walk into our house and get a friendly slobber. Yes and yes. She killed two out of two on rippingale the day Tony gave her to me aged 7. I mated her to Sniper but none of the offspring turned out as good as either parent.
