I think T knows who the particular anus scum phuck dog b*****ds are but when he faced up, the cowards rang the cops, rather than act like men....., but what would you expect?
Agree with Socks....so long as they are drinking there's a chance of survival. Lean chicken and boiled rice if they'll eat it and try to cut out the fats until the stools solidify...but again...ask your vet.
Remember reading a few articles about tanner in the old working terrier and running dog mags before earth dog running dog mags came out. a pic from one of the articles. was this a dog you knew?
My word, it's my Cisco dog....named after an old Belfast lurcherman! That dog was the same way bred as Tanner but from a different greyhound bitch, 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bearded collie. Templeking had his brother, Reno but he had a bad leg break and neither dog made as good as Tanner.
Looks like one of those free countries......you know like we used to have before......Tony B'liar and his bunch of class warriors misused the parliament act to criminalise the working class lurchermen of our once great land!
I have to say that the collie cross with the best mouth...the best kill record....I've seen was Templekings Tanner. 3/4 greyhound x Beardie off Handcock. The same man had a 3/4 greyhound x border off a bitch I had sold to Scotty some years previously, I think his name was Ben, and he was a more honest dog who stayed better and had bettter feet. Tanners feet had every toe pointing in a different direction.
Isn't it just a rebranding excercise? Something with a different name that will attract customers? I was born in a border collie household. My old ma told me the reason I was late learning to walk was because the collies herded me into corners when I did try to walk lol. I thought I was just a lazy b*****d!
Had collie and Irish terrier crosses right back to the mid 60's but when I was concentrating on hares or foxes I progressed to salukis and wheaten or bull cosses, although some of these crosses, especially the Irish terrier, would do all.
Using logic.........collies have been bred NOT to apply the mouth.......in other words, to hunt, stalk and get in position but to hold back at the crucial moment of strike. So I find it hard to credit a lurchers prey drive to whatever collie genes may be in its makeup.....I suppose it depends on how you define prey drive.
In August this year a pal and I travelled over to a breeder of hawks in south Wales...... which was an ordeal in itself, but that's another story.......and we stayed in a great little village called Trehafod, I think, in a pub called The Bertie. We arrived late, about 10 pm, so things were already in full swing with some local girl with a beautiful voice singing classic pop songs from the last three decades. We had a good drink, a deep sleep and a great breakfast before leaving by 8:30 a.m. to complete the last few miles to do our business but such was the friendly welcome and service that we
