  7. What kind of trouble wats? I've never had any bother with mine.
  8. What's a dummy. I know what you mean about the same questions being asked again and again,it happens on the other pages as well, ferreting, lurchers etc etc. I think we'll have to live with it as I can't see it changing. Only one thing for it,we'll have to get out there, shoot some quarry and get the pics up.
  9. I'd wait another week ferreter216,she's not there yet.
  10. So,if it's not on here it's not happening. I nipped out last night at dusk and shot 2 rabbits for the pot. This afternoon I was out with the ferret and bagged 6 rabbits and I've no doubt I'll be out tommorrow with the ferret to get some more. Is it worth taking a pic of 2 rabbits and posting it on here? If I took a pic and put up a post everytime I was out you would soon get sick of them.
  11. £500 for the S16 Sell the S16 mate and put the money you get for it to the money you've already got and buy a second hand Air Arms S410. Light, multi shot, accurate and reliable.
  12. Here's a pic of one I saw last year.
  13. What magazine and what issue was it in Sean? Did it state that a .22 has a greater velocity than a .177?
  14. It might be a tad heavy, depending what age the lad is.
  15. Where did you read that? i find it hard to believe are you sure you've read it properly? I thought that everyone knew that a .177 has greater velocity [travels faster] than a .22 Yet this article you've read says differently. Regarding the different calibres,I've consistently killed vermin etc with both .177 and .22. It's really down to personal choice.
  16. The bulk of my lurchers feed is made up with raw rabbit. That Dr Johns is a bag of shite one of the worst complete foods on the market.
  17. I didn't check the "first zero",I knew the zero wasn't far out at 35 yards so I just put my targets at that distance and tweaked the scope a little bit. I would think the "first zero" would be between 15-20 yards.
  18. I use Crossman Accupell in my AA S410K and find them spot on. It would be worth having your gun chronoed, unless you've altered the power you'll probably find it's only doing about 10ft/lb with accupell.
  19. I know what you mean by trying to get things from the mind onto the forum I quite often have the same problem. Cheers, Tam.
  20. Hello all, i dont want this to sound a daft question but how far away do you think i could risk being to kill a rabbit with a head shot with my daystate X2 sports, .22 calibre? Sorry mate,I must have picked you up wrong.Don't know how. Above is your original question and there is no mention of power there. My answer would still be the same. The gun if full power,11 to 12ft/lb will have enough power to kill a rabbit at 50 yards if you have the accuracy to hit it in the right place. But even though the gun has the power to kill at that distance if you cannot put all your pellets
  21. Hi Gaz, there's only one person that can truely answer your questions, you. Get yourself out there with some targets and find out what your groupings are like at different distances. For instance set your zero at 35 yards, once you are happy with it find out where your grouping at 40 yards then 45 yards if you can't keep the grouping tight then you shouldn't be taking shots at live quarry at that distance.
  22. No bipod mate,I was leaning against the roof of the car.
  23. I was out with my AA S410K .177 for a zeroing session this afternoon below are the results, there are 6 pellets in each target. 35 yards.
  24. You should give the garden fly a go.
