  1. Nice looking pup Cymruguy,he's gonna be a big lad. The black dog in the background,is that the one that was doing a bit of yapping last year? If so how did it turn out?
  2. ever tried using worm when the river is on a flood? The worm can be even more deadly when the river has fallen back in after a spate.
  3. Either lower the height of the ceiling or put a false ceiling over her bed area. Make it low enough so that she has to crawl into her bed and can't stand up when she's inside. I've done this in the past and it has always worked,as long as the ceiling is low enough.
  4. Flying C's are probably the most popular Salmon spinners at the present time. In clear water a black body with a silver blade seems to work best. In dirty water either luminous red or yellow bodies and silver blades should do the trick. And in tea coloured water you'll not go far wrong with a red body and silver blade.

    Some jokes

Ron the rooster was the meanest toughest rooster - ever. He would bully or fight all the farmyard animals, until one day the farm cat picked a fight and hammered the $hit out of Ron! the moral of this story, \ No matter how big and hard the co*k is, a pu$$y will always take it!! A male patient is lying in a hospital bed, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and his nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult four hour, surgical procedure. A young student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath. " Nurse" he mumbles from behind the mask. " Are my tes

  13. I've had quite a few greyhounds over the years that have not enjoyed their nails getting clipped, untill recently It's been a chore to cut their nails.About a year ago my mate got a set of weighing scales and a harness.when the greyhounds are off the ground in the harness I can cut their nails without any fidgeting from them.So if you have access to a harness you could try that. You could also try using one of these-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KINZO-MINI-HOBBY-TOOL-DREMEL-TYPE-CASE-FLEXI-DRIVE_W0QQitemZ250237578717QQihZ015QQcategoryZ29528QQssPageNameZWDVWQQ It might take 2 or 3 times, maybe mo

  19. Have you tried asking the council for permission? There's always a chance they'll say yes,if they do refuse you you've lost nothing.
  20. Good advice there longslip. Lurcher#1 you say "she is perfectly obediant, retrieving dummys and coming to call, just not when rabbiting," To me that suggests there is room for more obedience training especially on her recall. After all she cannot be obedient if she ignores you when your out rabbiting. If you keep the lamp on the rabbits when she goes "runabout" she will soon begin to think that this is what's required when your out lamping and it will be harder to break her of this bad habit. Far better to start her as you would like her to continue. As soon as she misses a rabbit
  21. I was told exacty the same thing Deker when I phoned Air Arms to complain about damaged skirts on their pellets. They said the pressure of the air would reshape the damaged skirts.I was even told to try them out if I didn't believe them. So off I went to shoot some targets,I put 5 good pellets through the barrel and the accuracy was spot on. Then I selected 5 pellets with damaged skirts and the difference was unmistakable,i hit everything except the bull. You were just exhausted after the first five So that's what it was, and here's me thinking it was the damaged s
