  1. Good going Davy. I'm not so sure about them rabbits being albinos, I was always led to believe that albinos had pink eyes but one of them seems to have a black/brown eye.Could be wrong though. Does anybody else have an opinion? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. You asked for opinions so here's mine. I think your pup is far too young to be chasing rabbits, even dropped ones.[it's known as baiting so is illegal I know it goes on but best not to say your doing it on an open forum]. Spend the spring and summer months bonding with and obedience training the pup and you'll reap the rewards in the autumn when she's 9 -10 month. If you start him too young and over tax him you'll do more harm than good. He's a pup let him do puppyish things.
  3. Well done Davy, thats good . A couple of the rabbits I shot last night were well beyond my zero point, one was 47 yards and the other 44 yards. 53 yards is a long way, how high were you aiming above it's head?

  6. Either lower the height of the ceiling or put a false ceiling over her bed area. Make it low enough so that she has to crawl into her bed and can't stand up when she's inside. I've done this in the past and it has always worked,as long as the ceiling is low enough.
  7. A few years back I used to ferret the rabbits on two fields that belonged to an elderly gent.I hit them fairly hard, infact too hard so in the end it wasn't worth doing.I was only getting 1 or 2 every time I went. I was passing the fields tonight with the air rifle in the back of the car and decided to call in at the house and ask if there was much going about. The old man had passed away but his wife was more than pleased to see me. "I hope you've brought your gun," she said as the rabbits had made a comeback, she was also keen for me to shoot as many pigeons as I could. Infact when we

Hope you don't mind me putting on the longer version. Elton John gets given a brand new Bentley which he falls in love with,he likes it that much that he goes to see his tattooist and asks him to tattoo the word Bentley on his c ck. The tattoo artist takes one look at Eltons c ck and says "there's no way I can tattoo Bentley on that". "Why not?" says a miffed Elton. "There's not enough room" replies the tattooist, who then says "if you want I can tattoo 4x4 on your c ck instead". "What the feck would I want 4x4 on there for?" shouted Elton. "Well" said the tattooi

    Text talking

Good man I'm not a fan of text talking and it only takes a few seconds to write it out in full. But why have some exceptions? Should we not be treated all the same? As you pointed out new members have to agree to abide by the conditions so can have no excuses.
  10. That's a crackin' photo Byron. It's great to hear the songbirds giving it their all.

    old firm

Let's face it lads Boruc is a good keeper but he is also a clown. He's played over 30 league games this year so has had plenty of opertunity to have worn such a t-shirt in the past, yet he didn't. Yet he chose to wear it in an old firm game. Boruc sadly has a history of imflammatory behaviour in these matches which doesn't look as if it's coming to an end.How can we expect both sets of supporters to behave themselves when the players are doing their utmost to stir up trouble.
  12. CONGRATULATIONS All the very best to you your wife and wee Archie.
  13. There's got to be a house somewhere. Just keep on driving untill you find one then go and ask if they know who owns the land.

  18. They are heavier and bigger because they are bred purely for raw pace.I believe Irish park coursing is all done more or less in a straight line, the winner being the dog that leads up. How things have changed,Master McGrath who won the waterloo cup three times in 1868,1869 and 1871 weighed only 53lb.
  19. Happy birthday Den. At our age it's just another day. Isn't it.

  22. It can turn into a battle of willpower just make sure you have more than the dog.You ask what stops him ignoring your commands? Only you can put a stop to it.First up is to make sure the dogs recall is spot on when there are no distractions, when I say spot on I mean the dog comes back to you the first time you shout for him,not the second or third time, you should be getting an instant reaction from the dog. When you are 100% happy with his recall then and only then you can move on to the next step which is taking him out where there is a distraction.Hopefully it will go without hiccups,if
  23. Graham Wellstead in his book "The Ferret and Ferreting Guide" writes about a litter of kits he hand reared from 4 days old.He goes into detail the ins and outs of rearing the litter in which 8 out of the 10 kits survived. He concludes by saying the kits grew up to be the most fantastic workers, absolutely steady at all times. It's well worth a read for anyone thinking of hand rearing a litter of kits.
