    yes i use a amber filter its bang on mate (the red one is only good for rats) its my preference good allround filter and you dont get seen using it Only suitable for rats,not sure how you come to that conclusion. I wouldn't be without a red filter, i've tried an amber one and couldn't stand using it.

    This might sound stupid but have you tried cleaning the lens? Sometimes the lens becomes dirty and will need a wipe. Maybe it's just that you were out on a lighter night hence the reason the beam looked dimmer, the darker the night the brighter the beam looks.

    Am I reading this right WH? You picked her up today, she needs a lot of weight off her and you've had her out getting some weight off her and ran her on the lamp tonight. Might have been an idea to let her settle in get her fit then let her work. Give her time and i'm sure she'll do you proud. If I've missread your post my apologies but that's what it looks like to me.

    I've found that since the changes the posts in the sales and wants section are not in order, eg last at the top. Is it only me or does everyone find that? Other than that everything seems okay.

    hi mate you would be better of buying a porta mag box . ultrasound would not be good enough for that mate with a mag box you put her in when your back after bushing for a short while and it will be beneficial in the long run mate ps i found a good home for the springxjack i showed you i see her most weeks I'd be interested to know why you think an ultrasound machine would not be good enough? As you rightly say a Porta Mag box can be usefull for taking the stiffness out of a dog after strenious excersize, but unless Tyla gets the dogs shoulder sorted the dog shouldn't be getting excersized.

    Chalkwarren, reading through Whin's PRICKLY QUESTION read your post about wanting to write about lurcher health @ maintenance. There is a book called The Care and Maintenance of the Racing Greyhound , I've not got it myself but I got a look at it a while back,I reckon it's probably regarded as the greyhound bible, the authers are 3 American vets, it's packed full of information, maybe if Dan Edwards reads this he might have had a look at it and confirm what i've said I have tried to purchase it from Amazon they wanted £150 second hand, to expensive for me,regards W G H Sounds a good

    I've had the gun over 2 years and in that time it might have had 2 tins of pellets through it certainly no more. I haven't had it serviced, there is no need. Last time I put it through the chrono it was doing 11.5ft/lb. I wasn't wanting to post it but could look into it but it will be at the buyers cost.

    I'll sum it up in one word kristian,-sh!te. Any dogs that i've seen that are fed on it haven't looked right in themselves, might be okay for a pet but not for a dog that's grafting.
