  1. Aye she was underground Bouncer, she'd bolted some out and we were pretty sure there weren't any left and she was just doing her last lap to make sure.
  2. Yesterday was a busy day running my boys back and forward to their football and ferreting. First up I had Declan at Dumfries at 8.45am as he was off to Stranraer. Then I watched Dylan playing locally. After lunch I took Dylan and my mate Tam ferreting as the local hotel were in need of rabbits. After an hour we had 7 rabbits one of which was missing most of it's ears [see pic]. Next it was time for me to head back to Dumfries to pick up Declan who arrived back at 4pm. When we got back up the road we went to see how Tam and Dylan were doing and found out they had 10 rabbits. We dec
  3. That's a crackin' bag of rabbits Longdog13.
  4. For me hunting up at night when it's not supposed to is all down to a lack of recall training. If it's recall is 100% spot on you won't have a problem.
  5. Do you know where the dog has been running since May 2009 as that's the last time he ran on a registered track? I would hazzard a guess he's been running the flaps, possibly in the North East? How much did you hear he was worth? The dog is 4 in May so his best years will be behind him.
  6. I don't think you're up to date with your coursing info Jamie. True coursing dogs on the whole are bigger and heavier but how do you make them out to be slower? If that was the case why have coursing dogs as surely someone would enter a "faster" track dog and beat the "slower" coursing dogs every time. You say " in a coursing greyhound its not so much down to speed its down to how many times the hare gets turned", I would ask you how many times have you watched coursing recently? There aren't that many turns in Irish park coursing, sometimes there aren't any. It's usually if not alw

  8. If you're going to go down that route you'll not get much better than Chudleys for price and quality.

  12. Have they fell asleep on the job.
  13. Thanks for all the replies folks, thought i'd try an' lighten the mood on here a touch.
  14. On our walk up the side of a burn this morning I noticed Blue with his head down at the side of a patch of brambles, he seemed to be mouthing something. Rabbits are in short supply where we were this morning although there are some old buries below the brambles but it's been a long time since I saw any rabbits hopping about on the banking. Blue was showing a lot of interest in whatever it was he'd got so I whistled him up and shouted for him to fetch it. When he picked it up and started carrying it back I couldn't make out what it was, as he got closer I realised it was a rabbit,
  15. Crackin' pics for a camera phone.

  18. How would that help. You'd still get newbies advertising, just means they'd have to become donators first.
  19. Yeah ferrets have been used by electricians for wiring jobs etc.
  20. Plenty of evens on offer from the bookies now mate and Boylesport are going 11/10, fill yer boots if you think they're a sure thing. Don't know if anyboby has taken your offer up but I would be surprised if they did as there are better options for them. Chelsea are 6/4 and Arsenal 6/1 so if they split the £100 and had £75 on chelsea and £25 on Arsenal here's what they'd lift.- Chelsea win gets £125. Arsenal win gets £150.
  21. Do the pup a favour and don't feed it Wag, don't rate the stuff at all. If possible get it onto some proper meat but if you are going to feed a complete food you'll not go far wrong with Chudleys Greyhound for a pup.
  22. Maybe you're just losing your grip mate. Sorry, couldn't resist that.
  23. Haven't got a favourite as I like a lot of different bands/songs, here are some of them. Stiff Little Fingers,- Gotta Gettaway. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=aV5eKr4uorg If I could have the song/lyric writing skills of any artist in the world it would be Shane MacGowan, here's a couple. The Pogues,-Sunnyside of the Street. Shane MacGowan and Sinead O'Conner,-Haunted.
